  1. Some people want to try it out / want a free os. And according to the net linked last night, the people who install it with the insider program will get it free, but they will have to beta test the updates also once the full version is released. I've just seen a lot of people wanting to install windows 10 so I've made this for those people.
  2. Here is a guide on how to upgrade from whatever OS you are running to windows 10. 1. you need to download the ISO after registering to the insider program. http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/preview-iso 2. After downloading the ISO, you need to open it up [With windows or another archiving program] and put the contents of it on some type of removable media that has over 4 GB of storage. EX: Sd card, USB drive [if installing on non-uefi pc, the boot sector must be created on the usb drive], DVD [reccomened to use the os's built-in capability to burn iso to dvd]. Only do this step if you are running windows: 3. You should be able to run the installer on the removable media and follow the instructions on screen! Your computer should restart, which is normal. Only do this step if you are not running windows or have problems with step 3:+ 4. Turn off/restart your computer. On the splash screen, there should be a button to enter boot menu or setup. Hit that button and make sure to boot to the flash drive. After that Follow the on screen instructions. It should be pretty similar to the windows 8 installer. 5. Remember to install the drivers for your system available from your motherboards' or gpus' manufacturer's website, also https://ninite.com/is a good website for installing software quickly. 6. For a shortcut on installing drivers [Only works with some of them] Make sure you have a working internet connection, and press windows + x, then hit device manager. There should be some uninstalled drivers marked with a Yellow triangle. Right click those drivers and then hit "update driver software". At least some of your drivers should install successfully this way [Your display driver always should]. Thats it! You should now have windows 10! If you have any suggestions/corrections/things i should add, make sure to leave a comment. Edit: partial credit to @Speedbird for some additions
  3. Whenever i plug anything into the front USB on my cooler master haf 912, it causes problems with the device I plugged it. I have to wiggle around the device and the device works in a very specific place. And it happens with every device. Any suggestions on how to fix it?
  4. Oh, i skimmed over the title quickly...
  5. Plugging them in and out. ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
  6. x86 is 32bit, which has a memory limit on the os. [somewhere between 3-4GB] x64 is 64 bit, which has almost infinite memory.
  7. Poop because it fits in a slingshot, unlike fan headers.
  8. You need new friends As stated in yesterday's net linked, if you install the preview, it will be free, but, you will be unable to opt out of beta updates.
  9. It sounds like the os on it is corrupt or not installed properly. I don't know what to tell you now other than check the flash drive again.
  10. All you need to do is make the boot priority 1 USB-FDD, I would make the second one the hard drive so you know if something went wrong. After the first restart you will need to make your hard drive the 1st one though
  11. Are you sure the OS is on the USB drive?
  12. Try USB-FDD and then try the others if it does not boot into the windows installer within 5 minutes.
  13. Have you tried downloading the windows 10 preview? It's free for now and some sites say that it might give it to you for free if you install it and connect it to a Microsoft account.
  14. I Don't know about Canada, but in america, you can get 2x4 GB sticks for $50 or less
  15. When you first turn on your computer, is there a thing that says press a key for boot menu?
  16. I see you dissaprove of my gpu, @cheeze_tartz
  17. Did you try re-prioritizing the boot order to your USB first, then changing it back the first time it restarts for setting up? Or did you not already try booting to it...
  18. Are there any cheap alternatives to the g27? I need to have a shifter, clutch, accelerator, brake, and a good turning radius on the wheel. Any Suggestions?
  19. A little bit, but Intel overall has better preformace:core which is best for gaming, as opposed to amd just adding more, less powerful cores.
  20. There should be a way... I have the option "Allow responders to edit responses after submitting" selected
  21. No overclock/turbo option added
  22. About to make more options for that...
