  1. I tried doing a scan of the registry in ccleaner and then fixing those issues, but that only made it go into a loop which never went into windows. To fix it, I just spammed something on my keyboard and now its back to the turn on 3 times and then boot into windows
  2. Hey everyone. I have had this issue for a while now but have been too lazy to try and fix it. What happens is when I press the power button, all the lights come on and it appears to start up, however no display. Then it repeats, maybe has a display, once more, and on the 4th or 3rd restart, it finally boots into windows. When it is in windows, there is no issues with the computer. I have had no other issues with this computer, not sure what is going on now. I do however, (in event viewer) always get a DCOM Error or two, and a bunch of Kernel-boot/Kernel-General/Power-troubleshooter information (as the level). They read as follows: The application-specific permission settings do not grant Local Activation permission for the COM Server application with CLSID {D63B10C5-BB46-4990-A94F-E40B9D520160} and APPID {9CA88EE3-ACB7-47C8-AFC4-AB702511C276} to the user NT AUTHORITY\SYSTEM SID (S-1-5-18) from address LocalHost (Using LRPC) running in the application container Unavailable SID (Unavailable). 3. Yeah, I'm not sure whereabouts you live, but the majority of capital cities in Australia have had NBN rolled out for 5+ years. I had South Brisbane Fiber in 2012 which is 100mbps and 5mbps up, and Now I have 100mbps down and 40mbps up with NBN. It's kind of annoying when everyone thinks our whole country has bad internet because of these kind of posts, I get how people still don't have nbn, but you would have to live pretty far out from the city for it to not apply to you. Wouldn't you at least have ADSL2+ where you are? Edit*: mbps replacing mb/s. 100 megabits down, not bytes.
  4. I don't play COD myself (Used to on PS3 but haven't touched that in around 2-3 years), but I do learn about the community by watching many youtubers from it. It appears that the amount of dislikes is spiked by the COD community due to the fact that they have countless youtubers and even regular players asking for a 'boots on ground' game, and after this constant asking, they then go up another level, by setting it in outer-space. I'm pretty sure the dislikes is just the community trying to send a message to COD that they don't want futuristic games. COD WAW II would definitely be the next step to regain the community's trust in the call of duty franchise. Although, that was made by Treyarch so I have no clue for Infinity Ward.
  5. Microsoft update their OS to improve the capabilities and uses of the system to the user. Why maintain an old build if a new and improved one has been made? That's like saying game developers should actively maintain old versions of their games and pay to host servers for older builds without patches, bug and exploit fixes and new features so that the player doesn't have to update the game. Of course automatic updates should be selected by default. It is pure, common sense.
  6. I feel like you are one of the few people on this forum who shares the same opinion as me. It is not Microsoft fault for improving their operating system. If you continuously postpone updates that are made to improve the system that you are using, then you suffer the consequences, it is as simple as that. Also, It is taught in early education, when children are learning about working on computers, to consistently save and backup their work. So if a user loses their 'important work', it is a consequence to not saving. If you are interrupted in the middle of rendering something, or playing something, then as @ddswh1pk0s said, it is a consequence of postponing updates. Instead of complaining about how after months on end of postponing an update it force installs itself, either just download the update, or turn off automatic updates. If you are incapable of searching "How to turn off updates windows 10" or "How to stop windows 10 from updating automatically" (Not the wording that I would use but simplified if we are talking about people with no computer experience) on google, so it IS okay for it to automatically update if the setting that is selected clearly says "Automatically update". People keep treating this as a problem, when in fact it isn't. If you want automatic updates, so that you are running the latest and greatest version of windows 10, then keep it the way it is, as it should be. If you don't, to each their own, change the setting and stop complaining. If you actually think the fault doesn't go to the guy, who is doing a business report that can determine his continuation in his current occupation, the night before, and 'rage quitting' after an automatic up that could have been prevented by either installing it earlier or changing the setting to manual updates, then you are just unreasonable. And as they say, you can't reason with unreasonable. It also isn't helpful to shout "WOW Microsoft designs their os for people who can use computers" and "lol I can't google how to turn off automatic updates but I can write forum posts complaining about them kappa kek #linuxwinz". Other than @ddswh1pk0s myself and everyone else who has never had this issue with their entire use of windows 10, I'm sure no one gets the idea.
  7. So many people are brain-dead nowadays its not funny. I really don't understand how hard it is to not be an actual dunce.

  8. I've had windows 10 since the technical preview and I've never had an automatic restart. Maybe if people weren't so ignorant and just updated whenever one is available (At the end of their gaming session or whatever) this wouldn't happen. I'm almost certain that this would only happen if you continuously postpone the update (Up to months on end) until you rightfully get put in your place. It's really irritating that people always blame Windows 10 for everything that goes wrong with their computer when in fact, most of the time it is their fault. I really don't understand how hard it is to leave your computer update for an extra 5> minutes after they shut it down. The "shutdown" option in the menu literally changes to "update and shutdown" yet people still refuse to click it, and just power off manually. Once again, even if you click postpone, really, is it that difficult to update with the shutdown. I'm sick of these topics and to be honest, the people that actually are forced to update rightfully deserve it.
  9. Borderlands 2. I still haven't finished it but so far I love the story
  10. Hey everyone, I have recently been enjoying Borderlands 2 and have been playing it through with my cousin. Currently I am playing as Zero and am level 25 and am still playing through the campaign. The reason I'm posting is because my cousin is only on for limited times as his PC is at his mums house hence he isn't able to play while he is at his dads. So I'm just looking for around 1-3 people (Not including me) to play through borderlands from the start. It would involve starting out another character from level 0 (or 1 idk) and just playing through, grinding out the game. If anyone is interested, feel free to add me on steam: steamcommunity.com/id/deadeyekozi Just leave a comment on my profile saying "BL2" or something so I know that the add is from this. Also, I'm from Australia and am in the timezone GMT +10, and am available to play from 3:00pm-11:00pm Sunday-Thursday and 6:00am-1:00am Friday-Saturday. Thanks
  11. When he buys the ram, he receives a free copy of Rainbow Six Siege. In other words when he buys that certain ram, he also receives a copy of Rainbow Six Siege as a code which can be redeemed. I don't understand how you don't understand..
