  1. So I just upgraded to Windows 10 and I noticed that the sound is coming from both my speakers and from my monitor which has speakers built into it. How do I disable the sound coming through the monitor? I tried opening up audio devices and it's not showing my monitor as an additional audio device. How do I fix this?

    Follow your own topic pls

  2. For the same coin, probably. But CPU-only coins can/have made me far more money in the past simply because of the restricted algos.

    Thanks though. I think I'll spin up a single GPU and crunch the numbers.

    Ah, haven't done any CPU only mining, but if you're doing BOINC or F@H, GPUs would do a lot better.

    I'm restricted to vCPU's due to Google's Cloud Platform, but if I had access to GPU's with this credit, I'd surely use them.

  3. I am in the same situation as you, OP. I have a client who was part of an incubated startup who has $120,000 in SoftLayer credit, $100,000 in AWS credit, and $24,000 in RackSpace credits. I'm looking to mine for him and was pointed to BOINC. I can use GPUs or a ton of vCPUs (my AWS account can spin up over 10,000 spot instances at a time - this isn't my first cloud mining rodeo, I made a living off of it via PrimeCoin/DogeCoin when it was profitable). I need to be able to make above a 20% ROI, so I'm trying to find out which coin is my best bet and whether I should do CPU or GPU mining (nVidia GRID/TESLA). AWS also has GRID K520s and Tesla M2050s.

    Does anyone have any results or raw numbers for the GRID K2, K520, TESLA M2050, or general CPU figures for these coins?

    No raw results for you but I can assure you that GPU mining is going to be better bang for your virtual buck.

  4. Hackers ruin every games is nothing special, but ban legitimate players that spend dozen of times and money onto game with an unacceptable excuses is ridiculous. Plus, they are giving you second chance if you got ban because they know the fact who would come back to the game if they already been banned. Matter of fact, Maplestory is more toward pay to win than free to play.

    Maplestory is not pay to win at all, everything you buy with real money or NX Cash is completely cosmetic.

  5. Yes, hackers ruin the game and banned legitimate players with an unacceptable excuses. Their game are no longer fun anymore since their patches fuck everythings up, and if you look at Maplestory right now it completely dead. Nexon should bankrupt rather make other company fall into their trap.

    Hackers ruin every game, there's a reason Maplestory has had so many patches and HackShield has evolved so much in the past few years.

    I've not played the GMS version in a year or so since I moved to the UK, but from what I've seen, they keep more content coming out and it seems to be interesting.

    I just wish it still had the player base of 6 years ago, then it might be feasible to actually find groups for PQ's and other events.

    I'm pretty nostalgic of the days when patch notes were in .txt files and there were only 4 classes...

  6. doClickVideo()

    {

        if(viewer.sub() = true)

            doSubPlayVideo();

        else{

            doAdPlay();

            doPlayVideo();

         }

    }

    doSubPlayVideo()

    {

        creator.incrementSubClickCount();

        doPlayVideo();

    }

    something like that would solve all this (hope autoformat is nice to me)

    Either you're joking, or you don't understand anything about web development and software stacks.

  7. Google is able to do so much, yet it sounds like they can't just bring over the free versions of the video to the subscription based version? I thought you were suppose to work hard to push your new model, not get content creators to do extra work so that your new model can thrive. Hell, they got self driving cars, and they can't get their systems to bring over the free version content to the subscription version content. It doesn't make sense that content creators have to do your work...

    Again, there have to be contracts signed and consent given by the creators to do that.

    This is a legal issue, not one of what Google is or isn't willing to do.

  8. why don't they just install a sort of extension that block ads on your browser for the users that pay the subscription (youtube subs extension which would be a reskin of adblock ^^)

    There's a whole different platform that has to be constructed around how creators get paid when there aren't ads being served.

    Currently, the advertisers pay both google and the creator.

    Just blocking the ads would eliminate the revenue without passing on the subscription pricing to the creators.

    Creators also have to have new contracts for this kind of deal.

  9. This addition to the team kind of inspired me. So I talked work into putting F@H on the four backroom PCs. They're just i5-2400's, but they sit around all day idling anyway and I've never seen them have higher than 10% usage even when the network is really busy. Now they pump out a ludicrous 8K PPD each. A far cry from Eric's amazing donation, but slow and steady, every little bit counts.

    I find it absolutely hilarious that four other computers only contribute 0.06% of the PPD my LlamaBox can fold at. GPUs are nuts at folding. But that'll make a difference over time.

    That's great!

    Don't worry about how little it is, every bit counts.

    My servers are super inefficient at folding proteins but I'm still throwing almost everything I've got at it.

    Plus when I hit next April, all my credit will expire so I'll be back to the basics to build a folding rig xD

  10. Who still uses uTorrent?

    Why should they be making money off someone else's piracy via advertisements?

    That's more legit stealing than those shady characters who pirate.

    You should all be using deluge.

  11. There is no best, there bunch good one's though, anyway try not to rely on just one piece of software instead combine malwarebytes with something else for example.

    Personaly use nod32 + malwarebytes

    Tron Script is the best because it's essentially every virus scanner and AV together.
