FineVisionz reacted to BobVonBob in How do I mirror (reverse) my display?
I'd check the settings on your projector. The setting might be named something like "rear projection", "invert", or "flip". If there isn't an option for something like that, UltraMon can flip the screen or an application. However, it costs $40 USD.
Edit: If the projector doesn't have horizontal mirroring but it does have vertical mirroring for ceiling mounting you could turn that on and rotate the display by 180 degrees in Windows. It's jank but it will effectively result in a horizontally mirrored screen.

You'll probably be fine with AWG20 or AWG18 wires (~ 0.75mm copper diameter). Even thinner wire will probably be fine, considering it's just a few feet / meters of wire.
I would suggest TE's M12 connectors, the 4 pin versions support up to AWG22 wires (which is thinner than awg20 or awg18):
female : https://www.digikey.com/en/products/detail/te-connectivity-amp-connectors/T4110002041-000/6679504
male : https://www.digikey.com/en/products/detail/te-connectivity-amp-connectors/T4111002041-000/8537345
Big long PDF that presents M8 and M12 series : https://www.te.com/commerce/DocumentDelivery/DDEController?&Action=srchrtrv&DocNm=1-1773701-8_M8M12_CONNECTOR_SYSTEM&DocType=CS&DocLang=English&DocFilename=ENG_CS_1-1773701-8_M8M12_CONNECTOR_SYSTEM_0914.pdf
Connectors are rated for up to 250v , up to 4A per pin, which is plenty.
That amplifier won't do 50w per channel with 12v. It uses TPA3116, here's the datasheet : https://www.ti.com/lit/ds/symlink/tpa3116d2.pdf
It can do 50w 4ohm BTL mode with 21v input voltage, not 12v. BTL means one chip combining the two channels into a single mono channel, so only applies if that amplifier uses two separate TPA3116 chips , one for each channel.
With 12v, with a chip configured in BTL mode, you're looking at maybe 15 watts before the distortions go over what's reasonable :
and if that's not clear, there's another graph ... go right to 12v and up to blue line, and you can see it barely does 15w with 12v input :

FineVisionz got a reaction from Gamer Schnitzel in What kind of performance hit will I experience on a ultrawide?
Hello,
I currently have a 16:9 1440p monitor and I'm looking at getting the aw3423dw 21:9 monitor.
What kind of a performance hit can I expect now that I will have to power the extra horizontal pixles?
To keep things simple lets say that I get 100fps on my 16:9 1440p monitor, what would you estimate the frames i'd get on a 21:9 1440p monitor?
Is it as simple as doing some basic math to just get an idea? The ultawide has about 34% more pixels than the 16:9. So I could expect ~66fps (if i was getting 100fps before)?
Or am I just overthinking it, haha.
Thanks!

For future reference, you can quote multiple people and posts in the same reply instead of making three consecutive posts by clicking the quote button on multiple posts while writing yours.
I'm an AMD guy, though my wife runs Nvidia, if for no other reason than so that we'll encounter different glitches or security vulnerabilities.
If you want the latest and greatest with no concern for frames/dollar, I'm going to recommend waiting until November for the rx 7900 xt. There is a good chance that it'll represent much better value than the 4090, and also a good chance that it'll represent a major step forward for RT capabilities
At 1440 1440hz any of the halo products will work, meaning that if you spot some killer deal on a 6900 xt or 6950 xt (at or under 750?) go for it.
Is ray tracing a major concern for you? Or are you looking for raw rasterization? I chose my 6800 XT cause I didn't care about ray tracing but wanted to push 4k 120fps in certain games.
Thankfully the rest of your build isn't going to bottleneck whatever gpu you're plotting on

How would you run dual AIO's? I have an AIO cooling my GPU and want to get an AIO to cool my CPU. Some questions I have regarding this is there is only one AIO pump header on my motherboard... How should I hook up two AIO's ?

FineVisionz got a reaction from lieder1987 in *FIXED* iCue Ram Lighting Orientation Not Correct
FIXED
In the iCue software, select your ram from your device list, select "DIMM SETUP", and from here you can select each DIMM and switch the orientation of them left to right by dragging them to the correct ram slot position or the orientation of the lights by selecting the DIMM and hitting the little arrow circle icon underneath the DIMM.

FineVisionz got a reaction from ItsBlck in Computer doing weird things
A list of some things,
1. Google Chrome opens up every time the computer starts all by itself even though it isn't enabled in the startup menu. Not only that but every time I open chrome it will open the last page that was open plus a new default page. It will keep opening up a new page in addition to however many pages were opened previously.
2. Starting this morning it asks me for a password every time I turn the computer on, even though I have unchecked the "Users must enter a username and password to use this computer" box. I used this tutorial to do so.
I know this may be a little confusing but any help on figuring what is the problem and or how to fix the problem would be much appreciated.
Happy Holidays,
FineVisionz

The SHP9500 will fit bigger heads better. I have an average sized head and my biggest complaint about them is that they are a little too loose for my liking.

@Ashiella I have seemed to fix my issue but going into discord > settings > voice > advanced and then make sure you have "Use Legacy Audio Subsystem" Checked. Then on Teamspeak, go to, Tools > options > capture mode and then select "Direct Sound". I hope this helps and it seems to have fixed my problem!

How about the Corsair Air 540? Unique design and the silver goes a little more towards grey, which I like.
Or if you can spend a bit more money, you could also get the very attractive looking Phanteks Evolv.

I could see it be quite lucrative. Just call it "The Office" and have the main topic be about how to organize your room for aesthetics and utility. Doesn't have to be limited to "one's room". Could also provide a source for ideas for home offices and so on. Hell, even workshop stuff! *drools*
