  1. Thanks for the help, using older drivers seems to fix it, I just shouldn't play any new games until it's oficially fixed ...
  2. At first, I had a very specific problem, which were the "Radeon Wattman settings are being restored" crashes right after startup. So I tried to install the latest drivers, which didn't do anything. Then I read that you're supposed to uninstall everything and then install just the bare driver without any other utilities. So I did that and it worked, twice. But I started to get a blackscreen right after boot, which now never even leaves. So I'm writing this while my monitor's plugged into the IGPU from my intel 4460, which works just fine. Has anyone ever experienced something like this ? I'm running windows 10, the current Amd driver is 16.12.2, I've even tried the 17 driver when I was having the wattman crashes, but it didn't fix it.
  3. Most people don't care about price to performance really, or don't do the reserch. Either way it's sad.
  4. For certain things even ebay is good, i bought rgb leds for example, they all work but you don't get datasheets whitch is really bad. But it works if you want to do something really cheaply. Things like resistors don't need datasheets and there are some mixed bag thing whitch go for pretty cheap as well.
  5. Ok gonna do that now then. Thanks
  6. It doesn't, it has a flat shiny surface on the bottom http://www.bequiet.com/en/cpucooler/446
  7. Is it normal for the temperatures to drop so fast after I close the benchmark? (Btw I used cinnebench, might want to try something else as well)
  8. Yes I cleaned it with toilet paper. I didn't use alcohol or anything like that.
  9. Old cooler was the stock one. I did put on thermal paste, maybe too little though. I only put on a drop with a diameter of about half a centimeter.
  10. So I have bought a cooler. It is the shadow rock 2 from be quiet. After mounting it my temps didn't really go down, they are actually much higher now. I have no idea what did I wrong. The temps didn't go above 70 before and now can reach over 80, athough i was too scared to let it go higher. What is strange is that right after I close the benchmark, the temps drop down to 20 after about 10 seconds. The heatpipes on the cooler next to the cpu don't seem to get any warmer. The cpu I'm using is an fx-6200. Its tempreture doesn't show directly anywhere, I used open monitor and what seems to be it is Temp3. The only thing it shows cpu related is core1-6, whitch strangely goes all the way down to 6 degrees celsius when I'm not running anything, then goes to the 80s as well. I don't really want to remount it if possible, because i wold have to take out my mb again. Did anybody eperience something simmilar ? Is it possible that it's caused by too little thermal paste? I only put on a drop with a diameter of about half a centimeter.
  11. Why not skylake? You could fit it in your budget and it is the most future proof thing you can get currently.
  12. Well not much, it would just possibly destroy your computer components, itself and blow the fuses in your house. You probably wouldn't die. Still deffinetly not practical, but with something like this, who cares really.
  13. Aren't the motherboard, psu and case overpriced ? I think you could possibly get a fury in there if those were cheaper.
  14. I would go for a newer cpu, but the parts are ok. If you get a cheaper psu (less watts (550 or something)), you can probably squeeze a skylake cpu in there and then it will be great. You should probably get a bigger ssd though.
