  1. I'm planning to do light overclocking, just to get my moneys worth of per core performance. Mainly I was wondering if OC is possible with the 212 at all. Regarding the OS, I might be fine leaving a new copy of windows out of my budget if it goes as you said, thanks! Right now my one and only monitor is 1080p, but I've been looking at buying a 1440p monitor along the with the new pc.
  2. The PSU is 5 or 6 years old, not sure about the exact dates. I would be open to 1070ti, but is it worth the ~70e price increase over 1660ti? (looking at prices Finland)
  3. So I've been thinking about getting a more powerful pc for a while now. My old gtx 780 bit the dust a few days ago so I thought it might be finally time for me to move forward with my plans. Here's what I've come up with for now. PCPartPicker part list / Price breakdown by merchant Type Item Price CPU Intel - Core i5-9600K 3.7 GHz 6-Core Processor $264.89 @ OutletPC CPU Cooler Cooler Master - Hyper 212 EVO 82.9 CFM Sleeve Bearing CPU Cooler $24.99 @ Newegg Motherboard MSI - MPG Z390 GAMING PRO CARBON ATX LGA1151 Motherboard $188.85 @ OutletPC Memory Crucial - Ballistix Sport LT 16 GB (2 x 8 GB) DDR4-3000 Memory $104.95 @ Amazon Storage Samsung - 860 Evo 500 GB 2.5" Solid State Drive Purchased For $0.00 Storage Intel - 660p Series 512 GB M.2-2280 Solid State Drive $65.89 @ OutletPC Video Card KFA2 - GeForce GTX 1660 Ti 6 GB (1-Click OC) Video Card Case Fractal Design - Define S ATX Mid Tower Case $96.11 @ Newegg Power Supply SeaSonic - 660 W 80+ Platinum Certified Fully-Modular ATX Power Supply Purchased For $0.00 Prices include shipping, taxes, rebates, and discounts Total (before mail-in rebates) $755.68 Mail-in rebates -$10.00 Total $745.68 Generated by PCPartPicker 2019-04-18 10:44 EDT-0400 I'm from Finland so you can ignore the pricing above. The cpu, motherboard and M.2 drive come in a bundle, saving a few bucks, otherwise I probably would've left out the M.2 drive and gone for a cheaper mobo. The CPU cooler, PSU and SSD are from my old build and are mainly where my questions are from. 1. Would it be worth it for me to buy a better cooler to achieve better clockspeeds, or could the old one achieve moderate results? And if you suggest upgrading, what cooler comes first to mind to you? 2. The PSU is quite old, do I have to take that into account or am I fine on that front? 3. Is it possible to somehow use the Windows from the SSD on the new pc, or do I need to buy a new copy of Windows? The Windows on the SSD was Windows 7 or 8 before moving to 10 and I don't have the installation CD anymore. 4. Lastly, I'm not quite sure what GPU to go with. I was looking at 1070, 1660ti and 2060 as possible candidates since I'd like to continue using ShadowPlay. The pc would mainly be used for gaming (from CSGO to AAA-games) and light editing/photoshop, nothing too taxing though. I'm happy to answer any possible questions, thanks for the help!
  4. Ah! I finally remembered to update this. The problem got eventually fixed by a windows update. Thank you for the help!
  5. Didn't work, just right back to the starting point..
  6. There's no option to set my trackpad as default or I just can't find it. When I try that it just says my drivers are up to date.
  7. Today I bought the MX master, plugged the receiver in my laptop, the mouse works flawlessly. Then I pulled the receiver off as I wanted to test the mouse on a different pc. Now the trackpad of my laptop doesnt work at all and I can't figure out a solution. I've tried everything I could think of with no success. OS: Windows 10 My laptop specifications if needed: Intel® Core™ i5 6200U DDR3L 1600 MHz SDRAM, 1 x SO-DIMM 512gb SSD
  8. Alright, so phones on the list of intrest atm are: Samsung S6 (600e) Samsung S7 (750e) LG G5 (700e) iPhone 6 (630e)
  9. Please give reasons, I've they're good enough I'll leave the apples to Newton
  10. Any pros and cons from the G5? I'll add it on my list of intrest, I looked at it, I don't really need SD card expansion and the price goes up too sharply for minor improvments and the IP rating imo.
  11. Mission brief: Budget: 600 euros (But I can budge for more if the case is compelling) OS: Android or iOS Features i'm looking for: Decent battery life (8 hours with normal workload would be nice), great camera (need dat low light performance too mate) A plus but not a MUST for me: water/dust proof So my previous phone was Sony Xperia Z2, it was a banging phone till the problems arrived, long story short; it's dead after only 1 and a half years. Now I'm looking for something to replace it, but Sony isn't my first label to go to because I expected the phone to last longer (but I don't rule it our either). I've been looking at few phones, Samsung S6 and iPhone 6. Can't really see many bigger differences than the OS, and iOS doesn't seem to bad to replace android for me. But I'm not so sharp at the phone front of tech so I figured to come here to ask YOU to help me, so a pretty please, thanks in advance! tl;dr: Halp, new brick, asap.
