BlueTri's Achievements

  1. If it was up to me I'd have a re-think about your loop it seems very messy, I'd try re-seating your cpu ensuring all your fans are placed correctly. I'd also say turn off your oc see if you still get the same temps.
  2. 1. Make sure you can get a gpu block for that gpu. 2. Primo only has one outside led color ( Non changeable ) 3. Just made a build in the luxe phanteks has amazing quality
  3. I'm confused though do the screws go in from the backplate in because on the stock backplate it is reversed?
  4. So I have a gtx 970 water block and a backplate coming tomorrow, so I was wondering if you install the gpu first or if you install them both at the same time?
  5. Well I found this: http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=WC-519-EK I do actually like it quite a lot its simple so I think im gonna go with that, seems like so much more effort to set up the tubular res.
  6. Well i'll be having 2 140's in the front for intake and 3 120's in the top for intake so i thought airflow wouldn't be so much of an issue. You do have a good point with not being able to access the pci slots. I'll be using the gigabyte g1 gtx 970 but i'll be sticking a waterblock and a backplate on it so it should take some of the length off it. But i'm pretty sure the card itself doesn't come out further than the pci slots. It is able to mount a res on a bracket that you can get with it that can mount on the left of the hard drive sleds but again I'm unsure about the space between the gpu and that mount point. I'm really not a fan of bay reservoirs unless i can find one that is variable and really looks nice. You got any ideas on how I could better mount it?
  7. Right well this is my plan it's a tad ghetto but only a tad: So I plan to remove the exhaust fan and then mount the rad like this either drilling holes if i need too or using industrial strength double sided tape. I see what you mean it takes up a lot of room, looks great though What do you think?

    New Luxe Build.

  9. Absolutely great reply man couldn't have asked for anything better, are you using the luxe as well or a different case? Yeah in all honesty i think the ek res would be better due to the slightly larger room i'd have to play with. I'll probably report back later to tell my experience Thanks Alot
  10. So I want to mount this in an enthoo luxe, first time watercooling build was wondering what experince people have with these and which overall they think is the better product? XSPC Photon 270 Tube Reservoir - 3x G1/4 Ports http://www.watercoolinguk.co.uk/p/XSPC-Photon-270-Tube-Reservoir-3x-G14-Ports_41645.html or EK Water Blocks EK-RES X3 250 Reservoir http://www.watercoolinguk.co.uk/p/EK-Water-Blocks-EK-RES-X3-250-Reservoir_38148.html Thanks
  11. So there is a mount you can attach to the hdd cages right, the g1 is huge so I don't think there would be enough room to mount one there?
  12. So I'm thinking of doing a watercooled build but i currently have a gigabyte gtx 970 g1 so i wont be able to use the mount to the right. To my knowledge there is a mount on the left in between the pci lanes, just wondering if anyone knew which tube reservoirs could fit here ? I was also thinking of getting the xspc photon 270 w/D5 vario then using double sided tape to be able to go from that res mount area and over the fan mount as I do like the look of large tube reservoirs, any ideas if this could work? Thanks guys
  13. So I want to make a water loop in the phanteks enthoo luxe, this will be my first build and I'm unsure what to do with picking fittings I know i want compression fittings but I'm really unsure of what sizes to get and what size tubing to get too these are the parts I've picked out so far: EK Water Blocks EK-FC970 GTX WF3 - Nickel - Fits Gigabyte Non-Reference GTX 970 EK Water Blocks EK-Supremacy EVO - Nickel XSPC Photon 170 Tube Reservoir XSPC D5 Vario (Body + Screwring) XSPC D5 Aluminium Screw Ring (Black) for D5 Photon & Dual Bay V2 Reservoirs EK Water Blocks EK-CoolStream PE 360 (Triple) Mayhems Pastel - Red Coolant 1L So which compression fittings and tubing should I use for this, thank you. I'm also in the uk so if you know the best place for watercooling parts in the UK let me know.
  14. So i found out that they make these now http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=WC-736-EK&tool=3 so i think i am gonna go for the water cooling.
  15. Ah sounds good man are you using a pump/res combo like this? http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=WC-272-XS if so we're you able to fit it in next to the gpu or by the pci lanes, If you haven't do you think there would be enough room with a gtx 970 g1?
