HunterChao reacted to rcmaehl in Can I use Evga BQ cables with Evga super Niva G2
Second photo doesn't specify if it's motherboard or PSU side and only shows the EPS connector. Assuming BOTH the second image is the PSU side and that's the only cable you're using, then yes, it'll work.

Why? Did your G2 not come with cables? Are the cables for the G2 in some way damaged? Do you have custom sleeved cables you want to use? Are you too lazy to redo your cable management in the case?

No it doesn't work because EVGA hasn't Standardized their Pinout to my knowledge
So its best to not do it.

Is it worth the risk to your components if it doesn't work?

HunterChao got a reaction from DrMacintosh in MAC PRO 1,1 Original No Boot
try using a dvd not a flash drive. I have had problems with using a flash drive on my mac pro 3,1. The EFI can be buggy on the mac pros from 3,1 down.

HunterChao got a reaction from RadiatingLight in PC build, won't turn on
Find the two pins that correspond to the power button and touch both with screw driver at the same time. If the system turns on then you had a cable not wired correctly.

that means that either the PSU is off, or something is unplugged.
make sure the 24 pin and 8 pin are securely in place and connected on both sides.
