Well in a theme of changing plans in regards to where I want to take my computer, comes another change, I guess I'm going to do an R5 1600 instead of the R7 1700.

    Nice, don't get an MSI board with Ryzen, they have a ton of issues. Get an AsRock or ASUS board :D

    Second one to suggest that MSI has issues with AM4.

     

    Guessing VRMs?

    Hows the Strix X370? A bit more than I want to spend.

    The VRMs are decent, but memory compatibility sucks (and their BIOS has a lot of issues). The Strix X370 is better AFAIK.

    Alright, a bit more than what I want to spend but maybe I'll have some extra money around black friday and maybe it'll go on sale. I doubt it but, it'd be nice.
