handymanshandle got a reaction from lboolaka_33 in Intel tries to distract by "finishing the design" of a 7nm chip in Q2 2021
I mean we're getting nitpicky over process size but the differences at least in gaming between at least 10th gen (10700K and Ryzen 7 3700X) aren't that huge. I mean in some games the Intel part comes out ahead.
That being said, I like AMD. I've been around them more or less at least since the mid 2000s Athlon x2/Athlon 64 x2 days, and Ryzen is good but the Ryzen fanbase annoys me to no bounds and only jumped ship once Ryzen was shown to be such a hit, to the point that I would probably get an Intel chip when I do my next build.
My most recent AMD computers have had: A8 4500M, A8 6410, A10 9600P, and Ryzen 7 1700...

No opinion on the verses and trailblazers but the infinity does look pretty nice

I'll be honest, I couldn't care less about skin color, sexual orientation, gender identification, bedroom habits, etc, etc. I have friends from just about every walk of life and I don't see any of them differently. I don't treat anybody as more 'special' based on any of these characteristics because they're not. We all have unique characteristics, strengths and weaknesses. We're all human and in this together.
Just don't step on the rights of my myself or my family and we'll be okay. Once government or other groups restrict my ability to live normally in the name of 'equity', then I have a big problem.
Just my 2 cents worth.

posting a day later, but Day 5 went pretty okay despite not getting much sleep
Was kinda sad because it sucked to leave, both of us were kinda fighting back tears because of how sucky it was to say goodbye but hopefully I'll be back in late April or early May.
We got Zaxby's for dinner like last time, although because it was an early dinner it didn't help us in finishing our meals.
We at least ate the chicken but both of us didn't finish our fries.
We went to Smashburger for Lunch they were pretty good.

Saying shit like "Being gay is not a personality!" is pretty reductive and shitty, because you're policing how people can express themselves. And a lot of gay people want to show they aren't afraid of who they are or afraid of being persecuted for who they are. And a lot of the time, they only feel safe doing this online.
Aaaaaaaaaaaaalso, it kinda implies you consider some queer people "acceptable" and others "unacceptable" which is: also shitty.

It is! There's none close to me, so I've only been able to go once. It was really good though.

yes
Today was fun as hell, and yeah Wahlburger was spendy lmao
but I think it’s not horribly unreasonable since the burgers are pretty good fwiw
I mean I don’t have high expectations for something that tries and tie itself to an actor lol
but it meets the expectations you’d need it to.

Day 4 was fun! Somehow, I was impressed by Denny's more than I was impressed by Outback. Wahlburgers was also pretty good, if not a bit spendy.

I made a bad mistake today.
If that doesn't give it away, I bought a Wacom Intuos drawing tablet today. I also found some retail Betamax tapes!

337MB. That's the size of Tetris Worlds on the PlayStation 2.

Yeah, off the top of my head I can name what me and Bren have had to eat in terms of eating out this weekend:
Freddy's Frozen Custard and Steakburgers Red Robin Outback Steakhouse Sonic When the worst thing you've had so far was Outback, you're doing pretty good. In retrospect, I'm sad that it's taken me this long to even go back to Red Robin.

Day 3 was busy as hell. But it was still rather nice! Even if it was raining because living right next to the Tennessee River more or less secures a bunch of rain when it's not sunny.
I also learned that eating Sonic with your boyfriend in your car in a parking lot is quite the fun date.

handymanshandle reacted to PlayStation 2 in USPS is getting new trucks but only 10% are electric
For anyone who can't contextualize how much driving delivery trucks do in a day, I notice that datasheets for the trucks at my FedEx facility will go from anywhere from 50-120 miles in a day, at least typically. Some go into Tennessee, which definitely adds to the higher end of that portion. Highway or even regular street driving doesn't kill fuel economy (or electric mileage) nearly as badly as constantly stopping and going every... 50-200 feet? Which is definitely something a USPS postal truck is doing comparatively to even a FedEx or UPS delivery van.
Having to constantly dig into the torque range versus being able to consistently (or even somewhat consistently) ride at a steady pace murders any gains in range and overall efficiency. 300 miles is 300 miles, but 300 miles means nothing without context in how a car is driven.

Nothing says "fancy date" like eating Sonic in a Kohl's parking lot in a Saturn wagon.
Then again, it's perfect for the both of us.
