Should I repaste my R7 1700 with the same Arctic MX-4 that I have or use the stuff my H7 came with or get something else?

    yeah I didnt apply my heatsink properly when I did it back on Dec 22 17 so my application of TIM wasnt great

    If you are getting high temps, then sure. The MX-4 is a nice paste from what I've heard so far.

    Well theyre not notably high but I do feel that some impact of temps is due to the poor application of paste

    I repasted mine not so long ago and, to be honest, it didn't make too much of a difference.

    I guess it depends on how bad the application was but, here's how mine looked:

    that's probably about as bad as mine though I think there were some areas that didnt get proper coverage like that
