salecar3 got a reaction from bakamau in i3 with 970 vs i5 with 960 vs i7 with 960
Second build. I3 and a 380 would be more than fine, i play csgo on a r7 250 with fx cpu with over 200+fps.

salecar3 got a reaction from jeremyhorse in How to deal with a computer addiction?
Talk to his parents,or who ever takes care of him.Try to collectivly help him, that he can se more peaple are helping him,are caring about him,get some of his other frends to help you out,i mean gaming addiction is something serius, and if he refuses just take out(someone) a computer part or a psu cable,he proboly wont notice.

salecar3 reacted to Elehat in New build, need opinions and thoughts
I'm no expert with the pro grade stuff, but I tried using audacity for about a week before realising I'd need something better. It's free, so you can too if you want . I currently use Ableton live 9 lite, cos it came with my audio input, and it's enough for my needs. I think most DAWs have 'stripped down' versions that are much cheaper than the full version, and have most of the features. Might need to go to the audio section if you want more info though, as I'm only a lowly home studio guy .

So yeah, that build would be good for the time being Plus you could overclock the 8320 with an aftermarket cooler (212 EVO for $20)

Alright, let me change the list to somehow fit an FX-8350/20 in it

Fx = bad (nowadays). The 4170 is the same in games as the 6300. And you never know, you might go full on gaming at 1080p in the future where the 380 would be really helpful

Have you used audacity before? I think it's the best of the free DAWs by a margin but it's still really, really bad. Most basic audio inputs come with some free DAW software, so that could be an option.

salecar3 got a reaction from i_build_nanosuits in normal temps for GTX 980ti (STRIX)
Try turining the oc down a bit,you only lose around 1fps and increse fan speed to 55/60.It should theoreticly help.

salecar3 got a reaction from Mattyd7829 in Is a 690 a good upgrade from a 7950?
Yea you can do cf and i think it should be better since cf scales better and dual gpu drivers arent usually good, imo get another gpu7950 or 7970 and they can be any manufacturer just make sure that you have a good psu -
