I'm having trouble booting Kali Linux on an external hard drive, I follow the steps as described here screen freezes. I'm helping my friend do it. OS X Yosemite. Any Help appreciated, thanks.

Thinking about buying the ASUS G751 with a 970m, plan to keep it for ~4 years, would like to only upgrade the GPU maybe once, will 3gb of VRAM be enough for at least medium settings on 1080p for a while?

Which monitor is better with a single [780ti/(880ti in future)], the ASUS PB287Q or the ASUS RoG SWIFT PG278Q? It will be used for occasional gaming, some photoshop, video editing, and web browsing with upwards of 150 tabs opened. I don't care about that high of a resolution in gaming, usually Minecraft, CoD, Watch Dogs, and Battlefield.
