    best performance to price ratio would probably be 8320 w/ 970 mobo if you're not looking to OC lots
     
    If you're getting a beefy cooler and are comfortable with push-it-to-the-limit overclocks, then a G3258 + Z97 motherboard

    The hybrid drives are better for things that you will access frequently. The first few loads of your most used stuff on the drive will be slower (more like a traditional hard drive), but once it "learns" what you use the most, those things will be noticeably faster.
