It's best to invest in quieter components such as fans and coolers first before sound dampening, unless you hear echoing in your case from already quiet components it won't be a huge difference.

As for be quite they still seem to have their dampening kit on their site:http://www.bequiet.com/en/accessories/61
If you want affordable and good quality sound dampening foam, Foam Factory is a good place to look: http://www.thefoamfactory.com/closedcellfoam/neoprene.html

Good god this is stupid. They paid a lot, give them a damn adapter and don't act like you lowered the price because you didn't include it. You didn't. You just saw the opportunity to double charge without raising the sticker price of the main product.

Hi, I have a g3258, even at stock clock, it can run cs:go at 1080p maxed setting with 750ti.
So I recommend a g3258 instead of i3 since its cheaper, and maybe you want to spend some money to upgrade directly into i5 in the future.

It pisses me off that this guide even has to exist in the first place. Why did they make it NOT run on dual core CPUs in the first place?

You just need to stop tinkering around with your PC and play games instead

I literally only buy new PC parts every 3 or 4 years when the PC starts grinding to a halt, I also have my PC hooked up to my TV so I can sit on the sofa with a headset and xbox controller to play games

I mostly only sit at my desk when editing, or playing FPS/RPGs

If your PC cant play it on ultra, stick it on high and enjoy the experience, PC gaming is not a dick measuring contest, I just recently completed black flag on my 11" laptop on lowest settings because it was the only computer I had access too, it was a GREAT time still

PC gaming is NOT about building rigs and messing around - sure that is a part of it, but PC gaming is about the freedom, using any controller you want, using a monitor and desk or sofa and TV, having 30 years of backwards compatibility, having settings that let us choose between frame rates and visual fidelity etc etc etc

or I using a Roccat tyon? it have some kind of side toggle instead of macro button so you could actually assign that as volume,
that's only my idea, never tried that either

But he doesn't have money to spend on, so I think the cheaper option is clearly the winner. He is "gaming" with pentium D and gt 520, so he will use the new pc for almost 3-4 years without upgrading, and in this time, newer (and better) chips will be there. Take in mind that his parents will put the money, so he need to see all the options and see what he can afford.

Also, OP can start selling lemonade at the street and save up for a new pc.

This whole thread is really stupid. I feel like the way you're acting, you're just trying to start a flame war. You have yet to make a point, plus you're calling a very influential person on the forum "clueless", when in fact they are just trying to argue their point.
You're allowed to have opinions, and I'm cool with discussions, but you are blatantly just trying to start arguments.

He modded it to hell and back but my point still stands, these extreme cases want more than 4GB of VRAM. Also any increase in resolution or texture quality means more VRAM is required. 1440p surround/eyefinity (Which is not unthinkable at all) can probably use more than 4GB with relative ease

Quickfire boards are excellent. Something to note about the TK is the non-standard bottom row, meaning it can be hard to find replacement keycaps if those are something you plan to get in the future.

    What do I think?

I think everyone has their panties in a twist over something that has two functions:

    Register as on
    Register as off

Seriously, you've got switches all over your house, it's nothing that impressive. Sure, the feeling might be a little different, but it's not exactly revolutionary, since you can't re-invent a switch in the same way you can't re-invent a wheel

Hate to burst peoples bubbles, but I'm getting a little tired of switch discussion. I'm more interested in there actually being competition to Cherry MX than I am the switch itself. More variety isn't a bad thing. Omron entering the market is kinda cool, I'm interested to see who else will enter. I can think of at least 3 other companies who've been making switches for gaming peripherals for a little while now, we'll see what happens. I don't buy into the whole, Cherry MX or nothing argument.

I actually tried some Kailh Browns today and this crazy thing happened, they felt pretty good, and consistent across the whole keyboard. The thing I've found interesting whenever Kailh is mentioned, is this:
"Eerrrrggghhh, der jus sum cheap cherry clone, herr herr german precision"

Which is even more hilarious when people turn around and recommend a Ducky keyboard, made in Taiwan
