I am actually using both kinds in my system, the little rubber "screw replacements" are great for all the case fans and what not, and the rubber gasket looking ones are great for mounting fans to radiators.
 
if you have a rad, get a gasket for fan mounting, for case fans use the little grommet things.
 
P.S. make sure you get a few more grommets than you need, I ripped a couple on accident while installing fans, i recommend using a pair of pliers to pull them through the fans and case, makes it way easier.

Yes that would be what it was called, thank you good sir.

i believe it is called intel virtualization technology, only supported on a small range of intel CPU's, but it can be extremely buggy and have awful performance, another option is to use an external HDD/SSD or a large flash drive
