  1. Hello, I bought a rog strix g513 and am having trouble installing the windows. I want to install it from an USB, but in the bios it doesn't find any boot devices. It is completely empty. What I tried so far: - USB works, can install from it on other PCs - Have tried inserting it in all USB ports on the laptop Here are 2 screenshots of the bios, the boot option priorities is greyed out and you cant click it. The boot menu is empty. If anyone knows what could be the issue, I would appreciate to hear it. Regards, Josh
  2. So I am one of the unlucky people that have gotten the ''exploding'' Gigabyte GP-P850GM 850W Gold with my graphic card back in April. Now, so far nothing has happened and the thing works, but I dont want to risk it so im swaping it out. Since the cable managment is so neat, I was wondering if I can just leave them in and plug them onto a new PSU? Or would it be recomended to swap them out for the ones that come with the new PSU? Also, are there any recomendations on which PSU are good? For which one I should change it. Nothing to expansive, but has to be modular and 850W. With regards, Josh
  3. Thank you for the answers, I actually got it to work. I just unplugged the windows harddrive so it didn't boot up. For some reason the keyboard worked on a new boot up when I did that. Really strange, but it is solved
  4. Hello, I was wondering if anyone had a familiar problem before and how to fix it. I have and USB keyboard, and it starts working only after the PC is booted up. Before that it doesn't work and I cant get into bios. Is there any other fix to this then buying a keyboard with an PS/2 port? I don't have an old one laying around, neither has anyone I know.
  5. Thank you all for all the recomendations. Il have a look around and see whats on stock from all of that and make a decision. Never seen such bad times to build a PC before thou. Everything seems so scarce.
  6. Hello there, I am building a cheap PC that will be used only for web browsing. So it doesnt need a powerfull graphic card and the budget is quite cheap to. I wanted to get an AMD Ryzen 5 3400G, but they seem to be out of stock everywhere. And nobody knows when they will be available again. The other option would be to buy a CPU that doesnt have any intergrated graphics as only those seem to be in stock here. What graphic card is semilliar in performance to Intergrated Radeon RX Vega 11 Graphics? The cheaper the better. But i'd like the performance to be at least like that. Regards, Josh
  7. thank you this thread was really helpful. Seem my RAM was not fully in, didnt know you had to us so much force to click it in.
  8. the monitors and cables are fine. They are from my main PC. And they work there. Must be something with the new PC.
  9. Hello, so I have build a PC. When I turn it on all the fans run and everything seems ok. But the monitor doesn't detect any signal. I have tried 3 different monitors, plugged them in through the graphic card and through the motherboard but nothing seems to work. Here are the PC components: CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 2600 3,4/3,9GHz 19MB AM4 Wraith Stealth cooler BOX processor MB: ASROCK B450M-HDV R4.0 PSU: BE QUIET! System Power 9 400w SSD: WD Green 480GB M.2 RAM: Teamgroup Zeus 16GB 2x8gb DDR4 DIMM PC4-24000 GPU: Zotac GTX 1050 TI Anyone knows what could be wrong here?
  10. yes!!! and here I was searching for it for quite some time without luck. Thanks!
  11. Hello, I remember I watched a video once where the sponsor was a company that makes phone cases. But I can't remember the name of the company. Their website has a black-yellow theme. Anyone know, please tell me. I remember the cases looked very cool and were carbon fiber, but I can't remember the name of the company to find it :) Thanks, Josh
  12. Nothing happens. If it is turned off in the settings before I plug the USB in, it just automatically enables it once I do. If I disable it while it is already plugged in it just cuts the data sharing, but the phone still inst visible on the PC for file sharing.
  13. I have already done that... I have unlimited data on mobile and the mobile internet is faster then my wired one, so I use the tattering a lot. In the begining, I had to enable data tattering every time I plugged the USB to the PC. But after a time it stopped asking for that and enabled it on its own. I didn't change any settings, it started doing that on its own. Quite weird. But since then I can't share files anymore.
  14. Hello, have this problem for a long time now. So, when I plug in the phone via USB to my PC it goes directly to data tattering sharing. On the pc, my phone doesn't appear so I could transfer files from my phone to PC or vise Versa. But it shares mobile data (internet). When I plug in the USB there is no notification or anything on the phone where I could choose if it wants files transferring or data sharing. It was in the past, but it doesn't show up. I could try factory resetting it, but I want to save the pictures I have on there. Anyone know what could be wrong, or where to enable some settings, that might be causing this? Thanks, Josh
  15. Thank you all for your input, it was most helpful.
