  1. Does anybody know whether they used Windows 10 version 1903 which includes scheduler improvements for Zen? If they didn't, then the story is just getting better and better
  2. I'm not sure if this forum is the right place to find unbiased advice on Windows vs Mac. The experience on Apple devices is something Windows devices cannot compete with. With a mac you'll spend less time messing around trying to fix issues and updating drivers etc. The applications on OSX would generally have a greater integration with the OS thus giving a more consistent experience such as smooth trackpad scrolling. However, you'll be paying more for that experience. So it's up to you whether it's worth it or not.
  3. I use a Alienware branded membrane keyboard and generic alienware branded mouse that came with my brothers waste-of-money alienware.
  4. I'm currently using a Radeon 7770 in my rig and I try to play GTA V and Witcher 3 on this. So anything is an upgrade to me.
  5. Well, you need to know the brand for a start and also the model number. Though, again, it is extremely unlikely that anything is available.
  6. It's very unlikely that there would be any custom firmware available for a TV box that is supplied by a service provider if that's what you're asking.
  7. Ethernet link speeds are limited to 10/100/1000/10000. I would check your cables and NICs to ensure they are capable of at least Gigabit transfer speeds.
  8. Follow the instruction on this page for going about enabling CUDA acceleration in Vegas.
  9. What GPU do you have? With nVidia you can utilise CUDA acceleration and with AMD you can use OpenCL.
  10. Get Radeon Software 16.2.1 Beta first. if that doesn't work out for you, then run DDU again and get Catalyst 15.7.1.
  11. Download Display Driver Uninstaller from Guru3D here and run it. After the driver has been completely removed, install the latest WHQL version of Radeon Software. EDIT: Looks like your card is a legacy product. Therefore, I recommend the Radeon Software beta. If that does cause issues, then it looks like you're stuck with Catalyst 15.7.
  12. You have a Realtek controller, so it doesn't seem to be a driver issue. What does ifconfig -a give you?
  13. A normal windows machine idle-ing should not use 90% of 4GB of RAM. I would do a clean install first if I were you too see if that would fix the problem. I consider 4GB of RAM to be the minimum amount and should be fine even when paired with a Pentium processor.
  14. Why not use 2013 or 2016? They have community versions available free of charge.
