  1. Thanks fam. If I'm still experiencing bad stutter I'll come back and maybe you can help with that lmao
  2. When I right click it doesn't give me that option
  3. I was experiencing major stuttering in GTA 5 and when I ran the benchmark I never got below 80 fps. I was trying to download Afterburner to see if it was a thermal issue (I also installed the latest drivers). It only downloads a .rar file.
  4. I just qualified for a newegg credit card with a limit of $800 and wanted to build a new gaming computer. I don't play graphics intense games but that's mostly because I can't currently. The budget would have to include a monitor as well so I guess its more of a $650-$700 build depending on the monitor. I have an SSD with windows so just a bulk storage hard drive is really needed. Thanks for the help P.S. I really like the NZXT S340 case so I'd like it to be in that
  5. It was just something I thought I heard. Someone might have said it at some point but for some reason I just thought of that. The deciding factor on what I end up getting really just comes down to availability and price at the time I decide to buy it. I'm sure I can find some good deals during cyber monday and black friday.
  6. I was just looking at the 4170 since it has a higher base clock than the other 2 and its the same price as the 4160. On the 4460, would more cores be better than hyper threading? I think I've heard some games benefit from hyper threading more than they do from additional cores, assuming this, a hyper threaded 2 core i3 would be better or the same in real world gaming and not synthetic benchmark scores right?
  7. I'm most likely getting a new monitor for black friday (29" 1080p ultrawide from LG) and I wanted a better CPU.. I had a $400 budget starting this build almost a year ago and mostly got the cheapest parts I could (except for psu). I went with a pentium g3258 since it was the most popular budget cpu at the time, and a ZOTAC gtx 950. The graphics card is fine for the games I play the most, but I think the cpu is bottlenecking performance on the more intense games (freezes randomly even when I'm not in an area that is easy to run). I was thinking about getting the I5-4460 since it's pretty cheap and has good reviews, but I'm not sure if I can fit that into my budget. If I can't get that then what would be the next best thing?
  8. I'd prefer the Razer Blade over the Stealth simply because of the 1060. I don't game on the go often but I won't really benefit from the 4k screen on the Stealth since I only really watch YouTube and my internet isn't good enough to play 4k. I'd mostly use it for school since most of my classes are online and a little gaming and video consumption. Plus, I'd most likely give my parents my current desktop since the Blade config is better than what I'm currently using, so there's really no reason to have both.
  9. I think this projector is sick! Especially in the way it was shown in the short. It's crazy how small yet powerful it is.
  10. I would use google but I don't want to download any unsafe files. How would I transfer files like steam from my ssd to my hard drive without uninstalling and reinstalling it?
  11. I don't have many options though. Best Buy is too expensive. The cheapest gaming laptop on there is $800.
  12. I've done everything. This happened in October last year. I've had others say it's the mobo too. It's dead.
  13. My current laptop doesn't have a graphics card. It doesn't even work right now. The power went out while it was plugged in and it killed the motherboard. I'm not sure if any of the other parts died or not. If they did it would cost just as much to fix it as it would to buy the Asus laptop.
