  1. An SSD maybe, dont think I see one in there and it would really be worth it! :) I know there are probably some that disagree with me but personally I kinda regretted chosing the i5 over the i7, the price difference is not that big and if games get better optimized for multi core now, it might make a difference. Idk, just think it would be worth an extra thought.. :)
  2. Im with Alpenwasser on this one! Not a fan of the bling, but still really love seeing someone put as much planning, time and effort into a build with so much detil
  3. haha, nice ghetto build! whats even more funny than the case is that you actually made a model of it in SketchUp! :P
  4. Doesnt the H110 come with the less fancy version of the SP series fans? I mean the same as the stand-alone SP series just without the rings. I dont know if they are the quite edition or not though.
  5. An SSD maybe? :) That is a very good way to spend a little money! and as long as you wont be using the Corsair AF series fans on the radiator they are solid choices.
  6. Looks good and deskcomputers like this is awesome! One thing you need to think about is cable managment though! With display build like this, you cant have cables all over, but that might come later, afterall you said this ia a work in progress! :) and if you have the budget I think you should get som mat black vinyl wrap to stick on the wooden surfaces. That way it would look more clean in my opinion.. :) Anyways, it looks really good and has lots more potential even! ;)
  7. Arent you just looking for the 900D ?
  8. for an everyday driver, I would go with the first Ducky.. I will be getting a couple custom boards the same size os the poker II, but they will be mostly for fun and maybe for my TV/media center and notebook if I want to have a kb with me there sometimes.. :)
  9. fair enough, still you dont have to get the most expensive for the best quality.. the big bang m power is a really nice board too from what I know, and its quite a bit cheaper if I remember correctly.. :)
  10. lga2011 is more expensive, but you really dont have to get the most expensive motherboard for it, something half the price is good.. :) (ok, maybe not half the price, I dont know, but cheaper atleast..)

    Good cheap DAC's

wow, you move fast! :O :P
  12. For a larger hole I suggest a jigsaw, I find it kinda hard to make a nice straight cut with a dremel..
  13. This is really really clean and nice, comparable to the MKII on mdpc in cleanness..! :O please PM me with how you made that PSU connector board! plz! :P
  14. have never played the game to be honest.. (please dont hit me!) :P But what about an oval case? one with a orange colored acrylic full cover side window the other with a blue acrylic..? :P hehe, would be super inpractical, but very different..!
  15. super nice! I could imagine that the force required on the retention arm could be a little worrisome the first time, but you get used to it.. :P Would really love to build something for other aswell, especially including watercooling and possibly modding, super much fun!

    Good cheap DAC's

from what I have heard thise one is really good and cheap http://fiio.com.cn/products/index.aspx?ID=100000028262517
  17. personally I would go Haswell.. :) If you mean the 840 Pro or the Cronos deluxe I would go with whichever is the cheapest if you mean the 840 non-pro then I would say the cronos if it isnt that much more expensive. The chronos outperforms the 840 non-pro but the Pro version is a little but faster in 4k random if I remember correctly.. :)
  18. Hey! Any suggestions for a beginner with 3D modeling? I played around with Google SketchUp a little while back, it is really easy to get to know, but I find it somewhat buggy, when medelling a computer with hardware, I tried to insert the Rampage IV extreme en there from Googles database, but I couldnt get it in the comepletly right position.. :/ Are there other noob friendly programs, CAD is "too pro" right?
  19. I just tried thermaltakes PSU calc and I got 214w with the 4770k without any OC.. and the 4770k is about 100watt right? I would have thought it would be lower than that, but that calc also starts at 34 watt... :) EDIT: so to clarify, from that calc those parts would use about 96 watt...
  20. this is a hard one. cant chose between these: Nissan GT-R, Porsche 911 Turbo S, Audi S5 or Audi R8.. and then the 1969 Mustang from "60 Seconds" (atleast I think that one is from 69) Now I just have to win the lottery a few times so that I can buy them all, or "invent" a facebook killer :P
  21. at what price? didnt think it was released yet..?
  22. if you pledge, you get access to both alpha and beta! ;) (atleast with most of the pledge plans..)
  23. Im backing it too! :) looks really awesome! Have only spent half of what the OP has spent though.. :P
  24. I think some of the confusion is that the MCP655 is just really well known, some even call their D5 pump "the MCP655" because they think thats the same, eventhough that is only Swiftechs name for the D5 pump. D5 pumps are only rebranden from leing (if im not mistaken)
  25. Fair enough, just my opinion.. :) It might also change once you have all the tubing and res' in there.. :) Its "Year of the Snake" i believe and it has a brushed aluminum case.. :) Ducky has white keycap sets though too, both for backlighting and for keyboards without backlighting.. :)
