  1. 500gigs for games is quite alot! And I think 2 x 250 (256) would be cheaper if you raid 0 them.. I would imagine that would be faster aswell.. :)
  2. looks good man! and may I suggest that you upload the pics offsite and just throw an in here? :) this isnt critisism, but I have just never understood why people would pick barb-fittings? :)
  3. I agree with most others an SSD would be a good adition and the Vector is a good choice from what I know. The PSU you posted about is enough for CF thats for sure. as for the GFX card I wouldnt buy a second one now a few months before a new generation arrives. I would get the SSD now, maybe a few fans if your PC is running hot, and then get a new generation gfx card when you have the money.. :)
  4. for me one of the best thing about building a new computer is doing the research on every component.. Do not rush it, you will regret somehting in the end! I suggest you do as much research as possible, if you need help understanding something you can always just find someone here on the forum that sounds knowledgeable and then shoot them a PM with you questions, I bet pretty much everyone here would be more than willing to help you! ;) anyways, when you have done the research and found the components you want then you can make a thread here and people will help you make it better or say it good! :)
  5. I know you have explained about the SSD, but you could also get a 120 when you get the next paycheck and sell that once you have enough money for a 500, though I dont understand why you would need an OS drive that big? the biggest benifit is in the OS, games not that much I believe.. Build looks good though.. :)
  6. the learning curve and the time you spend just running or driving kinda makes me not want to play it.. but it really does seem like a really good game if you want to use alot of time on it.. :)
  7. i havent really played COD since modern warfare 1 before a week ago when i bought Blops2.. I must admit I quite like it, but I am pretty sure it wont hold as long as Battlefield 3 has for me.

    BF3

I would deff say so, atleast if you like the base game..! :)
  9. Roccat Ryos Mechanical gaming keyboard.. (prefferably as many different keyswitches as possible, or atleast the blue and brown)
  10. yahr me to actually.. but he didnt say anything about any modding really.. except single sleeving cables that is..
  11. just know they are really slow with shipping, it would take along time to Uruguay I would imagine.. :)
  12. Loving this.. dont like the case though... but the loop and colors are awesome! have you tried how it looks with red LEDs in the CPU block and the SLI bridge ?
  13. are you using some pastel fluid or is that metal tubes?
  14. Its my middle name.. was called that when I went to boarding school, and I kinda thought it was cool. :)
  15. been waiting for this for a while now.. great to have it up. really looking forward to helping alot of beginners in here, and help build the forum up to something epic! :)
  16. A good case in my opinion is the Fractal Design R-series, the most recent being the R4.. I have had the R2 and was really happy about that, good cooling, very silent and good cable routing options. And I would imagine that the R4 is even better in every aspect and there is a version with a nice wondow.. but the corsair 600t is also a good choice if you like the look and if you want to spend a little more on the case. If you want a really big case, then the upcoming Corsair 900D will probably be really good too, especially if you are thinking about doing a custom watercooling loop in the future. As for tips on cable routing, just do it as simple as possible and get as many cables routed to the back of the motherboard-tray! :)
