  1. I think I want to get into Stellaris, but with all the DLC's available, which ones are the most essentiel to get? And any DLC packs I should get?
  2. Budget (including currency): 3000DKK (about 400-450USD) Country: Denmark Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: HomeAssistent, NAS, Other details I have harddrives, but need a new OS drive, prefferably an NVME. I also have a case fans, cooler and PSU. What I'm mainly looking for is CPU advice. I already have an AMD A5800 build, but it's old and somehwat unreliable, mostly becuase of the old SSD (11 years old). So im thinking about building a new rellly low TDP system so it's as cheap to have on always as possible. My plan was to wait for the new AMD CPUs/APUs but maybe an i3 from the last generation or two, might be a better bet. Anything else that would have good performance but not use too much power?
  3. I dont know if this is the correctl forum for this, I can move it if I need to. I just sat down after my computer has been on for a couple of days with no use and suddenly it's scrolling automaticly up or down on some windows. This doesn't happen in browsers, but it happens when I hover over the volume in Spotify, open the volume adjustment in windows, in the windows "settings" windows, Solidworks drop-down menus and probably more, but those are the places I have observes it so far. I have tried restarting, logging out and back in (google suggested the ladder), changing my mouse, unplugging my keyboard, and closing the Logitech G Hub app. I have also looked at windows updates, but no updates have been installed since before I last used my PC. Windows was installed fresh a few months ago, I have been having some weird issues which I asume is USB related, like my mouse and keyboard momentarily "dropping" out and getting the ocasional windows "plugged in/unplugged" sound, dont know what to call that.. Anyways, hoping I can get some help, was working on a project in Solidwrorks, but that's pretty hard when I can't select the option I need...
  4. Its a Rampage 5 motherboard, so its, as far as I know, judt a wide ATX board. The Define C tray looks to be raised from the rest of the case, so im pretty sure it would work. Thanks for the reply!
  5. I dont know if it's still like this, but alot of cases will not list EATX, as officially supported, maybe becuase they partially block cable management holes, but alot of them do. The two cases I have used for EATX didnt list it as supported, but it worked fine.
  6. Can anyone tell me if the Ramapge 5 can fit in the Define C? It probably doesn't list it or support it officially, but just wondering if anyone has done it anyways, and it phusically fits in the case.
  7. Anyone here with experience with this case? I am considering it to replace my old torn to pieces, 600T - but I might want to make a few changes to it first. So can anyone tell me if the motherboard tray in the PC-08 in held in place with revits or just screws? I dont want to take out rivets in a case like that, but screws I could do.. thanks in advance
  8. @Slick Why did you say section instead of second in this episode?! you said "Megabytes per section" and similar, more than just a couple of times..
  9. Found the channel when working on which parts I wanted to use for a new build a few years ago..
  10. I like the buttons on the back and the very cleen look and front and the sides!
  11. I dont see much point in the Surface "RT" becuase I for one would still want/need an x86 based laptop, so I would go for the Pro version so I can install more than just Apps on it. and as someone else says, it not much different than the android counterpart, except for office programs, but the appstore is probably not as good as android..
  12. YOU WON THE 4TB WD RED HDD!!!!!!!! CONGRATULATIONS!!

  13. I have a gaming computer with a Samsung 840 250gig SSD for windows/programs and a few games and a Corsair 120gig Force 3 drive for games. I also have a server with another 120gig Force 3 ssd and then I have 1 x WD Black 500GB drive, 2 x 3TB WD Red drives, 2 x 2TB WD Black Enterprise drives and 1 x 1TB WD Black drive. The reason for my setup: I didnt want any harddrives in my gaming rig beucase they are too big and I want to make it as beutiful and silent as possible, and I really like the speed of SSDs! My server is running a SSD for OS, becuase its fast and then obviusly mechanical harddrives for storage because they are big and I have built up my drive "pool" for some years now, never had a WD die or any problems with them, which is why I only ever buy WD when it comes to mechanical drives.

    Headphones?

I got a pair of HD600, they are over double your budget from new I think, but I got mine used and they are really nice, the sounds is amazing! Maybe take a look at what you can find used, with a little luck you could find HD600's..
  15. I wont buy razer products, partly because I have had two mice break and a mousepad that kinda broke, the build quality was not good in my opnion. And partly because a few of my friends hates razer, also because of bad experiences with their products! Though I know there are or atleast have been alot of Razer haters on the net, but as Linus says, companies which sells alot of products will also have the most "bad publicity" and most the most RMAs (not in percentages, but in total amount), and I think Razer is one of the biggest pheriphiral suppliers in the world, atleast for the gamin community..
