  1. Thanks for the suggestions. I might grab this. Only bad thing I've heard about cyberpower for pre-built is often times they orient the intake/exhaust for the fans in the wrong way.
  2. So I am going to upgrade my PC after 8 years and for $2.3k USD this looks like a great deal: https://www.cyberpowerpc.com/system/Prebuilt-Gaming-PC-GLX-99623 Should I pull the trigger on this?
  3. Here is what I came up with for my new PC: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/xkCDkJ Compared to my old build, I added the i7 13700k, Asus TUF GAMING Z790 Plus Wifi, 2TB M.2, and 32Gb of DDR5 RAM since DDR4 isn’t compatible with the mobo and if I’m upgrading I think I should switch to DDR5 anyways. Those upgrades are going to cost me $1000 after tax. I know the part list says the H115i cooler is incompatible but it looks like the screws will still work from the LGA1151 socket after researching.
  4. How does this combo look: https://www.amazon.com/Intel-i7-13700K-Processor-Intel®12th-Motherboard/dp/B0BTT9VXWH/ref=mp_s_a_1_3?crid=1ZNQ3OGSPH3YZ&keywords=i7+13700k+motherboard+combo&qid=1701021627&sprefix=i7+13700k+motherboard+combo%2Caps%2C460&sr=8-3
  5. Is there a way I can fit an i7 in there? My budget is $600 Thanks but I’m never going AMD for personal reasons.
  6. Budget (including currency): ~$600 Country: United States Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Gaming (CoD Warzone, Fortnite, MMORPG's, etc.) Other details: Current Build: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/WWXbCd So I have had this PC for several years now and had to replace my GPU to a 3070 about 2 years ago. I am having a lot of low FPS issues in games and I believe it's mainly due to how old my CPU is (i7 7700k). I want to upgrade my CPU to an updated Intel. The reason I've been putting it off so long is I need to also replace the motherboard too due to it being an old socket for anything recent. But I want to know if there is a good deal for Intel CPU/Mobo especially since it's close to Cyber Monday. Thanks.
  7. Saw this 3080 on Newegg and wondering if its worth it: https://www.newegg.com/maxsun-geforce-rtx-3080/p/1FT-009J-000B8 The reviews on the card seem great. Also super quiet and great temps. The only downside is that the RGB can’t be controlled which is unfortunate.
  8. On second thought, I’ve been hearing a lot of temperature issues with the card. Like it gets to 80C in some games and it’s pretty loud going off reviews. I’m not so sure anymore. I definitely want to go the Nvidia route but don’t want a toasty/loud card.
  9. Thanks guys. I feel like I can pull the trigger then, it seems like a decent card with good reviews. I’ve been borrowing my friend’s 3070 for a while now so I definitely need to get it back to him.
  10. Saw this on Newegg and I'm in need of a new GPU. Have never heard of Yeston though. https://www.newegg.com/yeston-geforce-rtx-3080-rtx3080-10g-d6x-ya/p/1FT-007N-00071?Description=3080 strix&cm_re=3080_strix-_-9SIAZUEHMN7535-_-Product&quicklink=true $769 with $40 gift card.
  11. So I’ve recently been looking around for GPU’s and can get a 3080 Asus series for $800. But I’m wondering if it’s worth waiting for the 4000 series to come out. I’m not sure how long until they come out though or if it’ll be difficult to get one.
  12. So I recently removed the front and top panels of my Phanteks Enthoo Luxe case to do some cleaning for the first time after 6 years. There was a lot of dust and I cleaned the front panel/front fans and top panel of the case lightly with a towel + canned air. But upon turning my computer on, I immediately noticed that the front panel fans are making this weird pulsating noise. If you listen to the video with the volume turned all the way up you can faintly hear it, but it seems to be louder in real life. I’m not sure if this is normal or if there is something wrong. The only reason I’m thinking it may be normal is that the sheer amount of dust that was built up dampened the noise which is why I didn’t hear it before. The front panel of the case had a fan connector which I didn’t disconnect during the cleaning. The top panel of the case did have cables which I did disconnect but I made sure to connect them back up to the same place, but I’m assuming that was just for the power button and HDD light, etc. that is located on the top panel of the case. I checked all my fan settings and made sure nothing was changed too. IMG_9867.MOV
  13. My GPU is in the top slot. But I didn't touch my GPU at all before I had any of these issues.
  14. The top panel and front panel had some cables connected to the fans and the power button on the case. But they are working properly, both the power button LED's and case fans are all spinning. So i don't think anything got unplugged. I didn't mess with anything near the motherboard.
  15. I'm running into a very weird problem. Today I took the front panel and top panel off of my case to clean it and there was a ton of dust. I used a towel and canned air to clean it. Now upon putting it back I notice that my front-case fans are pulsating a little bit. I checked my fan curves and speeds and everything seems normal. However, I just played a game of league and noticed my fps drops to like 80-90 when in combat or lots of stuff is happening. It never used to do this before. I would always stay at 140+ frames. I checked my temps and everything is fine as well. Not sure what happened because I just took off the front panel and top panel. Would cleaning my PC cause this? Maybe something else happened software related? Not sure cause I don't remember changing anything. Specs: i7 7700k, RTX 3070, 16GB RAM, Phanteks Enthoo Luxe Case
