  1. Also, I only have a 900p monitor so I'm not exactly dealing with 1080p max settings 144hz
  2. Can someone do me up a rig capable of playing new games at decent settings, aiming for 60fps. Also it needs to be able to do some light recording/editing but nothing too much really. The budget is about £450 to £500. No OS is needed, and I won't need any peripherals.
  3. Here are some results from playing GTA V as well So it's my CPU that's definitely the issue?

  5. So my CPU is bottlenecking my GPU?
  6. So I've had some issues with MSI Afterburner telling me that my GPU (r9 270) isn't being utilized fully, as in the usage never really gets above about 85%. I'm getting about 25-35 FPS in Far Cry 4 at Ultra preset at 1600x900. Is there an issue with my gpu? Edit: CPU is AMD FX 6300, and I have 8GB of RAM at 1600mhz
  7. Where do you even buy reference GTX cards from?
  8. Alright, thanks dude I think that build is great and all but I think I can live with turning down a few graphical settings to save almost £200
  9. This seems like a pretty sweet suggestion, I'll keep it mind man Are you sure that if I got a 970 there wouldn't be bottlenecking issues with the CPU? I'm not really sure about any of the bottlenecking stuff so I just want to make sure
  10. Thanks for the heads up Alright nice one I'll take a look at some of the 2x4GB packs, thanks for the suggestion
  11. Howdy y'all! I'm planning on getting a new gaming PC that will be able to; Play the latest games such as GTA V, Rust, Fallout 4, etc at decent settings, 60fps at 1080p Be fairly quiet and dust proof. Be small enough for me to be able to move to another house easily. Have a little video editing capability. I have come up with this and I wanted to know if I'd be achieving most of my needs. http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/p/zdzwnQ I really have no idea what CPU's bottleneck what GPU's, but I hope that what I picked out is fairly decent. I'd like to spend as close to £500 as possible, but I really don't mind saving up a little more if I'm going to be able to get a better part or something. I don't need Windows or anything as I already have these, and I already have my keyboard, mouse and headset. Also, if anyone could recommend any decent 1080p monitors for the money (preferably 60Hz+, low response times, low input delay, etc.) then that would be much appreciated. - Thank you all
  12. So I've been having trouble with my wired connection ever since I built my computer, and nothing seems to really fix it after posting on several forums several times. So would a USB to Ethernet adapter maybe solve the problem? If you think it will, can anyone recommend and good and cheap ones? I live in the UK so preferably from a UK site or something please
