  1. Not sure if you're looking for the full cost of the setup or just the per-cup cost. For espresso shots I use the MiniPresso, which goes for $60 on amazon, and depending on the beans used can cost anywhere from $0.03 to $0.30 per shot (very rough estimations). The Aeropress is $30, and uses exactly twice as much coffee per cup, so $0.6-0.60 per cup. And a decent coffee grinder costs around $20
  2. Honestly, I don't like Dunkin' coffee. I prefer fresh espresso shots I make at home, or black Aeropress coffee.
  3. Oh no! Changed the title to at least try to stay away from the spamminess. I already see it with the breakfast question. And as for understanding what everyone says, it's the kind of thing you get used to. When I started (started only with podcasts) it was only to plow through backlogs I wanted to listen to. Working my way up to 3x speed over a few months, I became used to it. Podcasts were a great place to start, since the audio quality tends to be excellent and the hosts tend to enunciate. To keep it interesting, I'll say what I used to have for breakfast. I used to have soylent, all in the name of efficiency. But then it turned out i'm allergic to soy ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Today I had some coffee, then some Dunkin breakfast sandwiches after class. Right? There's no time to forget when the video is over in a minute.
  4. Long-time lurker here. Decided to give a little twist to the ol' introduction post with an admission to my weirdest quirk, to celebrate my sub to the FpC. I watch a bunch of videos every day, including everything from Northernlion and everything from LMG (Big time discrepancy there). Because my time is sooooo important, and I hate myself, I consume media at whatever speed is available to me. These days I'm watching everything at around 4x speed, the max speed to play with audio on HTML5 video in Chrome. Sometimes I drop down as low as 3x for comfort. If you care enough to know more, ask away. Also, sound off if you regularly watch things at different speeds as well. I'd love to find out that this quirk isn't so weird.
