  1. Working on a new build and it's not posting. The case working with has a Gen 4 riser cable and I'm using a rtx 3070ti. However my motherboard only supports Gen 3 so I was wondering if this was a possible reason for the no post. I kinda doubt it since I believe it's backwards compatible but I'm not sure.
  2. Hmm you bring up a very good point, thanks for your input.
  3. Want a gpu and have the opportunity to purchase one, but I'm not sure if its a good deal. To me it seems really good compared to ebay prices but im not sure about it.
  4. No it remembers the settings when I set it to default. I just mean that even when I have all the default UEFI settings, sometimes it does not boot. The only way I can fix it is by setting the bios to UEFI default again, which in theory does nothing since the settings are the exact same.
  5. So I have been having trouble booting into windows and I have tried scouring the forums for a hint of what my problem may be to no avail. Hopefully one of you guys will have some ideas. So when I start my desktop I usually can get into windows no problem, but on ocassion I wont be able to boot into windows. It will show a blinking dash and just stay there. The only way I have found to fix this is simply restarting and going into bios and changing my bios settings to UEFI default, even if they are already on the default settings. This usually fixes the problem. This is not an ideal solution though and I haven't been able to figure out the cause. Maybe it is just the motherboard itself though. My motherboard is the the ASRock X370 Pro 4 with a 2700x and a gtx 1060 6gb.
  6. I currently have the Corsair Spec-01 and a hyper 212 evo and the system is fairly loud. I was wondeirng if there were good cases that had quieter fans. Currently thinking about getting the Be Quiet! Dark Base 700 ($170). IS this a good case or is there one that is similar with a lower price?
  7. I want to stream and game at the same time so I was looking to upgrade my pc. I noticed that the current case that I have, the corsair spec-01 is fairly loud and I was looking into getting a case that was a lot quieter. After doing some research it looks like AMD is the best option in terms of value and performance when streaming while playing games. I currently have: Cpu: i5 4690k Ram: 2x4 gb DDR3 Crucial Gpu: gtx 1060 6gb Cooler: Hyper 212 Evo Case: Corsair Spec-01 PSU: CX 650M This is what I've come up with so far: Cpu: Ryzen 7 2700 ($200) MOBO: ASRock - X370 Pro4 ATX AM4 Motherboard ($70) Ram: ADATA - XPG GAMMIX D10 16 GB (2 x 8 GB) DDR4-2400 Memory ($77) Case: be quiet! - Dark Base 700 ATX Mid Tower Case ($170) I could pick up the 2700x for $260 but I did some research and with manual overclocking I think I could hit 4.1 or 4.2 ghz after manual OC with my old hyper 212 EVO which would be about the same as the 2700x. Just wondering if what I have here is good or if I should wait for Ryzen 3000 series processors. Also is there a better case or at least one with similar performance for a cheaper price? $170 is quite a lot for a case.
  8. As strange as this may be, I am looking for a lefty claw grip mouse. As a kid no one ever told me that I should use the mouse on my right hand rather than my left. Now I am used to using a mouse on my left hand and it will take a long time get used to a right handed mouse. Anyway, I know that the Deathadder comes in a lefty edition but I was wondering if it is good for a claw grip.
  9. So im gonna be building a new pc very soon and I was wondering if I should get the 960 or wait for the 1060. Also any ideas on the price of the 1060?
  10. Wish I could use this but I play csgo and i have to bind my flashbangs, molotovs, grenades, smoke grenades, etc. I dont think that i have anywhere to put them
  11. My favorite would be the power supply it is much bigger and more efficent than my current one
  12. How many watts do i need and which one would you reccomend?
  13. I dont know if the graphics cards and the other stuff are compatable. Im planning to build my first pc and just want to be sure. Might do some overclocking and add another graphics card in the future. I also dont want it to be to loud. 14. The best part of the phone is the 1080 hd quality. It seems to be better in every way than the iphone 5s. I also dont have a phone and was looking to get the iphone 5s but now want the xperia z2.
