  1. Ok thank you for your replies I will change the psu for a 450W one
  2. Hello Community, I want to select parts for a friends build. I narrowed some parts down, but I am unsure about some. Heres the build suggestion: CPU: i5 4590 ~ 200€ GPU: GTX 970 Zotac (the cheap one) ~330€ MB: Asus Z87-C (unsure about that one, is there a cheaper possibility) ~80€ RAM: Adata 8bg 1600 kit (or a cheaper alternative) ~70€ Case: Cooler Master N300 ~50€ PSU: be quiet pure power 500w (do i need that much? would 450 suffice?) ~65€ Maybe I'll add a Coolermaster Evo Cooler... (is needed?) ~30€ -> ~825€ My friend wants the most bang for the buck(obviously) and doesn't care at all about the looks. He wants to game at 1080p @ 60fps if possible. The budget is around 800-850€, and if possible I want to keep the GPU-CPU ive chosen. ( I think theyre a good match). My questions are: 1. Is something inherently wrong? 2. Is the PSUs wattage ok, can i go lower? (no 2nd gpu in future) 3. what are good PSUs choices? (not really into that Im afraid) 4. Is there a cheaper MB that will do the job? If you have some sparetime, I would be nice if you answer my questions.
  3. Its a define r4 from fractal. The front intakes are filtered. I do quite a bit of of on my 7950. It runs about 78℃ but the fan is quite loud. The thing is, when I do one more intake on the side it will get louder because it isn't filtered. I guess I have to experiment Thanks for the answers
  4. Some cases feature a fan mount on the left sidepanel instead of a window. Does a casefan, which is mounted there, significantly reduce temperatures of the gpu if its a open cooler design? The gfxcard would get fresh air directly from outside. Has anyone this or a similar config and wouldn't mind sharing results? Greetz Flosch
  5. I think the define 4 is exactly what i was looking for It fits all my needs. Thank you all! Im going for the black One!
  6. I havent thought of that. Im searching for a new service as my daily driver. Guess i have to rely on a normal email solution.
  7. Hey there Im searching for a Case that has similar aesthetics to the h440 and is optimized for silence. If possible, it should feature an optical drive slot. (Which is my only complaint about the h440) I checked the low end models from nzxt, liked the aesthetic, but disliked the build quality. It also should be a midtower. I have an i5 3470, so no OC there. I plan to get a dark rock 3, because its dark . Also i want silence. Which brings me to my Gpu. I habe a 7950 Gigabyte @1125 which is a bit on the louder side. Is the h440 a good Case for my air cooled scenario, or can you guys give me a better recommendation? My focus is silence and clean aesthetic. Have a good one
  8. Thank you, i think ill go the combo solution
  9. Which is cheaper?
  10. I want to control my 3 Case fans in order to achieve low rpms. Im not sure if i choose beqiet silent wings or some cheapo ones. But my crappy motherboard only controls 3 pin fans. What should i use? Is it time for a dedicated fan controller?
  11. I'd like to know if you have any recommendations for an e-Mail service, which encrypts mails and data secure and reliable. I'm currently on gmx, which I find very unfortunate. Are there services that have there own client(app)? I'm also willing to spend a few bucks if it is necessary. Have a nice day
