Another update to my 2015 WRX.  Got everything installed a few weeks back and it drives great.  Still working out the tune with Torqued Performance, hopefully will be done soon.  Once I get everything sorted out there I will probably do video on how it drives as well as how it sounds.  With the CAI installed it's loud.  Love the sound of the turbo spool.

Looking at upgrading my 2015 wrx around the beginning of July.  I'm still doing more research of all the parts I'm going to buy, but I think I have a good idea on what I'm going to do.  Probably looking at the following:

    Cobb Accessport v3
    Grimmspeed CAI
    Grimmspeed Boost Controller
    Invidia catless downpipe
    Perrin shift stop
    Perrin shifter bushing
    Perrin short shifter adapter
    Invidia Q300 exhaust
E-tune, not sure where I'm gonna get one done yet but I have a few options.

Should be a welcome upgrade to my car.  Definitely looking forward to driving it once I install everything.  Should be a fun weekend doing the installation as well.

Ah, ok that explains it then.  Not sure on the difference in price between the US and Romania.  You could try the Hyper x clouds, but the sound quality might be a bit lower than the 518s.

I got a 2015 WRX Premium with STI Shifter for $22,300 last July.  I guess they can ask for more since people tend to look for Hatchbacks these days.  I personally can't stand the look of them, I've always liked the sedans.  Wish I could've gotten one of the late 90s models though or even the bugeye one.  Then again, nothing wrong with hatchbacks.  I have a 2013 Focus ST2 and love the car.  Not as fun as the WRX to drive, but it's fun in it's own right.

Here is a picture from when I first bought it.  Car is pretty much stock now, only things changed were the radio, replaced with a pioneer touchscreen, and the speakers, changed to some Kicker 3-way speakers.

Not really thinking on that yet.  After I throw this $2k or so to go stage 2 I might go ahead and do a Cadillac brake upgrade to it.  If I do then I will have to go with at least 18" wheels, or would have to modify the calipers to fit properly.  That should run me about $1200 with all parts and doing the work myself, where if I bought standard Brembo brakes it would be over $3000 to do front and back.  Apparently the Cadillac brakes are Brembos, and just need a few modifications to work on a WRX.  As for headers, probably not at the moment.  If I do anything further under the hood it would require me to change out more than I want such as fuel pump, turbo, intercooler.

Edit:  I'll definitely take some pictures of everything I buy and probably some pics during installation and after installation.  Possibly even a video to show a before and after 0-60 as well as launch and the difference in sound.

revl8er got a reaction from Mr. Swede in Open or closed headphones below 300$ for gaming? [Solved]
I can only speak from my experience with headphones.  I've tried the following headphones:

Astro A40s:  They are alright if you're looking for an all in one gaming headset that can be used on consoles as well.  They sound pretty bad compared to the others on the list.

Sennheiser PC360:  A bit tight fit around your head at first, however once they are broken in they are pretty comfortable.  Used them during 4+ hour gaming sessions with no discomfort.  Sound is great with good positional audio.  Never had any complaints about the microphone either.

Sennheiser Momentum:  They had a nice sound to it, however not good for gaming IMO.  Positional audio wasn't nearly as good as the others, they are more for style than for great sound IMO, though they do sound really good when using a phone to drive them.

AKG K712:  My current headphones.  Excellent sound if you can push them properly.  They sound fine with onboard audio, but once paired with a dac/amp (currently use the schiit fulla 2) the sound is so much better.  Positional audio is excellent and they are very comfortable.  Used them for several gaming sessions over 4 hours with no issues.  The headband doesn't push on my head at all, it just fits right for me.  Just keep in mind that they are open back headphones, so they are good to use at home, but not good if  you want to use in public.  As for the audio quality, I haven't personally tried anything that sounds near the quality.  All in all, I don't see myself ever moving away from these unless they break.

Check to make sure the device isn't disabled for some reason.  That can be done from your playback devices, just right click and show disabled devices.

If you have 5.1 or 7.1 you will have to do some minor wiring, there is no way around it.  If you get a receiver, all you do is plug the wires from the speaker into the receiver.

Probably next year.  You should be able to max everything out at 1440p and maintain 60fps.  If you had a 1440p 144hz monitor or 4k monitor then a 1080ti would be beneficial.  But with your current setup, unless you just wanna blow money with no noticeable gain then stick with what you have.

For 24" you wouldn't want 4k.  Text will be so small on that monitor.  Even if you aren't competitive, 144hz is just so awesome to have.  If you must get 4k then go at least 27".
