  1. Switch is nice because it's portable. Resolution and performance got a pass for awhile because it was the best on the market. Now with the steam deck it's showing some age for sure. PC is fantastic because it's all about options. Want to use a controller? Take your pick Want the most FPS you can get? TURN DOWN ALL THE SETTINGS if you want Want the best picture? Turn up the speeds on your hardware past the default to maximize performance want to play old games from 20+ years ago? Many are readily available Consoles are nice as it's pick up and just go, PC gives freedom. Which is better is an opinion. As long as you're having fun is really what should matter.
  2. Miyamoto, a delayed pad is eventually sold, a bad pad is never shipped or something of that sort.
  3. are you looking for a numberpad or a certain size?
  4. I think a gtx 3060 would be a nice upgrade from the 1070 for you. It's top of your budget new but might be able to get it a little cheaper in a few weeks or possibly a different model used around 400 https://www.amazon.co.uk/MSI-GEFORCE-Graphics-1837MHz-DisplayPort/dp/B08WHML7GL/ref=sr_1_1?crid=3J2HYTTLOOYT3&keywords=rtx+3060&qid=1661457114&sprefix=gtx+3060%2Caps%2C172&sr=8-1
  5. if you search around the used market a bit you wonder what kind of drugs some people are in with the perceived value in their equipment.
  6. LMG is an organization, not your friend. They're going to keep growing as needed for their own success. At the end of the day their integrity isn't measured by viewers but the sponsors that pay for the videos.
  7. I've been wanting to get a desk pad, and while the current design isn't bad. I'd like something else, as for what. I think an all the things RGB design maybe nice, speckled RGB throughout the mat maybe a rainbow thread edge. a wan show or short circuit themed pad would catch my interest. Just some thoughts.
  8. just ordered the regular to test with, i think if i like the tactile maybe i'll go with inky.
  9. thank you, I've seen to see gateron quite a bit so I ordered a sample of the different colors from amazon. This helps narrow it down quite a bit I think. I've only really used Reds before not sure if I want the bump or not lol
  10. are there any switches you prefer? I've been using linear as long as i've been using big brand boards. corsair strafe with cherry red and now evga 12 with reds as well.
  11. the q1 seems to be good, not sure i like the default keycaps on the prebuilt, building my own seems like it could be a bit pricier?
  12. I'm between the two of these, reviews seem to be well. I'm not sure how much i'll be modding. I have an EVGA 12? right now with cherry reds that is fine. But i'd like something a bit smaller, tenkeyless seems to be the way to go. I'm not sure i could do a compact at the moment. I would like a multimedia knob/roller as i tend to use it a bit while working. the newer model seems to be out of stock, not sure how quick these comes back if at all. Keyboard stuff seems to be strange. But i'm not sure if the heavier build or bit of flex is worth going with on the Q1 v2 or if that money would be used better elsewhere (not sure i like the keycaps on either but would save if i can get a V1)
  13. im not sure if your going to leave again for a long time but welcome back!

  14. gotta say, i recently picked up this desk as well as a cheaper alternative to the Ikea butcher block drawer build so many do enjoy. It's only been about a week but it's been rock solid and fits my tower and a 27 inch monitor with plenty of room for another down the road.
