Giraffackle got a reaction from saitamaak in PC Crush Durning Gaming Please Help
I don't know the exact cause, but did you remove the old drivers beforehand?

Giraffackle reacted to DarkRift5 in PC Crush Durning Gaming Please Help
This is important. I recently installed a new card myself (Nvidia to Nvidia) and since I thought the drivers were the same I didn't uninstall them- boy was I wrong. That was a pain in the butt to fix. I had crashing as well as downright weird resolution issues.
It is fixable, though.

Giraffackle got a reaction from Stryder721 in Is a BenQ RL2460HT Worth it For $70?
I know some people say you can repair a monitor scratch it isn't too deep with an eraser, but it seems to have mixed results.
I feel like I would use it as a monitor just for gaming since it has a 1ms response time, and productivity on my other monitor which is slightly more color accurate.
I have a monitor that has a small scratch on the bottom left, and it's true that you can't really notice it, but I feel like it's different when it's in the center of the display. He told me that you can't even see it when it's on.

To be fair unless your looking like super close, you can hardly notice the scratch, and for 70 bucks not to shabby

for $70, if its a secondary monitor then maybe ill consider it
as a main monitor that i will be staring at often, it'll bother me so much so i wouldnt bother getting it `-`

i would definatly get it, the scratch would be hard to find some sort of fix for tho, you might have to replace something(not 100% sure on monitor construction) but i would just live with it, its an otherwise good monitor

I was expecting your post to end like "then delete anything that says Nvidia in the uninstall menu, then go buy an AMD card" it would've been a nice plot twist.

Giraffackle got a reaction from CydiaDash in Why Are People So Stubborn?
Personally, I stay out of these arguments because the people who usually start them are trying to make a fuss over it on purpose. They both have good use depending on their situation, no need to be bias either way.

I looked up on steelseries' website earlier this week for the same thing as I have the QCK as well, and they recommend wiping it with a damp cloth.

Giraffackle got a reaction from Thermite in Computer randomly shuts down under load
Perhaps you should get a program that shows your temps and watch them as you do something on load or run a stress test just to make sure that it isn't your pc overheating.

Giraffackle got a reaction from abdul94 in k70 v strafe
I have the k95 rgb which is just a k70 with 18 extra macros, and I really like it. They both use Cherry MX switches, so you will have the "Genuine German Switches" either way. I personally have never used the strafe though, so I can't say anything about the cleaning part. I would imagine it's just a matter of removing the switches and cleaning up the crumbs!
