  1. Update: I think this is the problem. I remember having some left over "If it was working fine until you put on the water block then something went wrong. I would take it back apart and reinstall water block or put original cooler back on and try. Make sure you didn't miss a small plastic washer or something that needed placed to prevent a ground somewhere. It would have to have the original cooler put back on anyways to do an RMA. Make sure all power connections are fully inserted as well." (https://forums.evga.com/RTX-3090-EVGA-FTW-3-Ekwb-Waterblock-install-Not-booting-m3212511.aspx)
  2. Sent specs in my other reply. No debug leds, what else can i do?
  3. Asus z690p, 12700kf, reference 3080, 32gb corsair vengeance ddr5, m.2 ssds. No debug leds, is the speaker helpful?
  4. Building my existing pc in a new case w custom water cooling and powered on after i reassembled in the case with the new blocks on. I have a fan plugged into the cpu header. The fan spins, but I don’t get an image on my monitor from the gpu (cant check cpu because i have an f variant 12700). The pc turns on and stays on, and requires a long press of the power button to turn off. Ive tried moving the ram around and using only 1 stick, and ive also tried reseating the gpu. What should be my next moves before assuming i messed up during the cpu/gpu block installation and need new ones, and how do i decide if its the cpu, gpu or both?
  5. I've got a tube i want to run from a top rad, to a passthrough fitting that leads to the basement. How will I orient the tube so that I can screw it in to both fittings? See diagram below. It's not super clear, but I cant slide the tube in place perpendicular to the top and bottom, but it's also not flexible, so I can't connect one side and then rotate the other down, because it won't be high enough to fit over the fitting. What do I do in this scenario?
  6. Haven't done water cooling in a bit, and after looking at some new(er) options (namely distro plates and flat reservoirs), i'm wondering what cool new bits of watercooling I might not be aware of. I'm planning a build for the tower 500, and I'm looking for some new/cool ideas. I'd like to incorporate a distroplate, but it looks like they're meant for certain cases. Recommendations for a tower 500 build?
  7. I know you can get freesync to work on nvidia GPUs if you have an amd gpu in your system. does the ryzen 1700 have an igpu that this would work with?
  8. My Friend's hard drive "stopped working", so he sent it to me to try and recover his data. it didn't have windows on it, it was an extra drive for games, docs, etc., but it was being used with a windows machine. I plugged it into my PC, i could hear and feel the drive spinning. when i typed in my password i was greeted with a black screen for about 30 seconds, but then windows booted and has been acting normally. I see the Drive in my file explorer, but when I double click on it I get the following error "Location is not available. E:\ is not accessible. The request could not be performed because of an I/O device error". Any ideas? I obviously don't have the tools at hand to do any professional level data recovery, but I thought it might be something easy, especially since the drive is powering on and I can see the partitions in Windows Disk Management.
  9. I'm looking for something that splits 1 ethernet signal into 2. My friend has a cable in his room from his router and that needs to supply his PC and PS4 with network. Ideas? I know He could just get a 5 port switch, but that seems like overkill. Is there a simpler solution?
  10. @Phentos Do either of you know of a 240 or 280 aio that uses the same metal for its rad and block?
  11. https://www.fractal-design.com/home/product/water-cooling/celsius-s24 The product page says the radiator is aluminum, and the block is copper. How would this not cause galvanic corrosion?
  12. I just noticed something on the celsius s24 product page. The radiator is aluminum, but the block is copper. Is this not going to cause galvanic corrosion?
  13. I'm going to try just 240mm rad first because the expected temp with 2 240mm rads is 27c (though i'm sure this is at least slightly inaccurate)
  14. Is the Fractal celcius s24 (240mm rad aio) enough to cool both an overclock GTX 1080 and an Overclocked Ryzen 1700? Not looking for any riciculously low temperatures, just 70c and lower. I CAN add a 140mm rad to the loop, but in my case it would be a hassle. Would that be worth it?
  15. Title says it all; what is the thinnest aio that supports Ryzen (AM4)?
  16. It lags on other video streaming platforms as well
  17. No, I play games and everything else online is fine.
  18. I recently got new graphics card (GTX 1080 ti) a month ago and since then i have been having a strange problem with youtube audio. At some point after a youtube video begins the audio lags a few seconds behind the video. My headphones are plugged in straight to my computer, not at all connected to my GPU. This happens on every browser on my PC, not just chrome. What should I do to fix this?
