  1. Hello everyone, I've been having some serious stuttering problems while using my wired 360 controller for my PC. I just got it yesterday, plugged it in, and everything seemed to be working buttery smooth. However, when I started using it this morning, I was getting some really odd audio stuttering and slowdown while playing Cave Story. I was also getting some really atrocious video stuttering alongside these other issues in both Guacamelee and Rayman Origins. I've searched all over the place, but I can't seem to find a working solution. I tried disabling the controller's rumble, but that didn't change a thing. Any idea what might be causing this?
  2. I'm in love with the phone's ridiculous build quality... I MUST HAVE IT!
  3. Crysis 3, Metro: Last Light, and Star Citizen.
  4. My 7950 with the Never Settle bundle, which I got about a year ago.
  5. Right now I'm planning on becoming an engineer (probably electrical), but I'm keeping my options open for other possibilities.
  6. Super Mario World! It was the first game I've ever played, and I sunk hundreds of hours into it as a kid.

    Star Citizen

I have an Aurora LN, and I might buy myself a 300i later on, assuming I have some spare cash.
  8. I enjoyed the original quite a bit, although it definitely needed some improvements (mainly in the weapon handling), and the PC port was pretty bad as well (I had to download a 3rd party program just to adjust my FOV). Borderlands 2 was an improvement in every possible way. The gun play was vastly improved, the PC port was amazing, and the weapon variety was improved. One of my favourite games of 2012. I can see why some people may not like it, but as a fan of loot-fest action-RPG's like Torchlight 2, and FPS games, I love it.

  10. The Half-Life series (including Black Mesa), Portal 1 & 2, Max Payne 1 & 2, Metro Last Light, Spec Ops: The Line, The Walking Dead Season 1 & 2, and The Wolf Among Us.
  11. I've been playing Mark of the Ninja, Estranged Act 1 (a Source mod), Primal Carnage, and Alice: Madness Returns.
  12. I have various PC parts in my desk drawer, a dead mATX board (AM2+), a dead laptop drive, a 2GB stick of RAM (which I occasionally use as a ruler), and a physics textbook. Just in case.
  13. My cat does the exact same thing. Whenever I'm on my laptop, he always tries to lay down on the keyboard.
  14. AC2. I bought it ages ago, and finally got around to playing it during the holidays
  15. I'm not embarrassed to show my friends, but I usually get some... questionable looks from them. Most of them listen to EDM, pop music, and country. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6fd5HUafQhs
  16. I have a heavily armored imperial majoring in one handed. In my other hand I usually have a shield or magic, depending on the situation.
  17. I have so many games I'm looking forward to in 2014. The Witcher 3, Watch Dogs, The Division, The Crew, Titanfall, Destiny, The Evil Within, Infamous: Second Son, Telltale's Game of Thrones, Thief, Dying Light, Hellraid, Wolfenstein: The New Order, Carmageddon Reincarnation, Lichdom, Routine, Hotline Miami 2, Transistor, Child of Light, Valiant Hearts: The Great War, and Raindrop. My poor, poor wallet. And as always, HALF-LIFE 3
  18. About 35$ on Spec Ops: The Line, Alice Madness Returns, Trials Evolution, Bulletstorm, Guacamelee, Hotline Miami + Soundtrack, and a the Ranger Mode for Metro Last Light (for my eventual second playthrough).
  19. My immediate suggestion would be Black Mesa, which is a total remake of the original Half-Life in the Source Engine. It's a better version of the original game, with a new soundtrack, voice acting (which is actually really good for a mod), and loads of pretty lighting! And since it's a remake of the original game, it takes a similar amount of time to beat (8-10 hours, depending on if you take your time or not) (Small disclaimer: It doesn't feature the Xen portion of the original game, as that's currently being worked on) Apart from that, if you're into horror, you should also check out Nightmare House 2, and Underhell. NH2 is a story-driven 2-3 hour mod set in an "abandoned" hospital. Underhell is a semi-tactical FPS/survival horror mod (the prologue is more FPS focused, whereas the 1st chapter is more survival horror). There's also a house, which acts as a type of hub area, where you must find out what happened to your deceased wife. Underhell's prologue is about 3-4 hours long, and the chapter 1 campaign is at least 8+ hours (I still haven't finished it yet because I'm a wuss). The only one of these mods that REQUIRES you to have Ep2 installed is Nightmare House 2, the others only need the Source SDK 2006 and 2007 (which are free to download as long as you own a source engine game).
  20. If you enjoy platformers, ABSO-FREAKIN'-LUTELY. It's loads of fun, even more so if you have 2 other people for co-op.
  21. I'm so jelly right now... >.> For 25 down/1,5 up I have to pay 60$ CAD(47,60 euro)/month, and the fastest speeds I can get are 50 down/5 up for 90$ CAD. Not to mention that "unlimited" 4G would cost 100+$ a month separately (even though it isn't actually unlimited). We get royally screwed over when it comes to ISP's, particularly in smaller cities like where I live.
