  1. Nope! I did an IP check, it shows as being in the correct place.
  2. Colorado, United States. Shouldn't be a location based issue, I wouldn't think.
  3. Hey all, I'm trying to purchase access to the floatplane club, but as soon as I go to checkout I get this error. Any ideas? This is reproducible on Chrome and Firefox, Windows 10 Anniversary Update. Thanks!
  4. Wow, what an awesome little projector. Would be great for gaming, or the theater I work in! Would love to have.
  5. In my experience, it seems like linear gameplay is always able to convey a story arc more effectively than an open world campaign, simply because the game designer has a much greater control over how the game is portrayed to the gamer - like a movie. Games such as Half Life, The Last of Us, Bioshock, Portal, and Amnesia - all with excellent and concrete story arcs, evidence this. Openworld gameplay, on the other hand, tends to have more abstract and less impactful story arcs, as they are unable to influence exactly how the character experiences it. For instance, Skyrim, GTA, Batman, and Assassin's Creed. My question is, which do you prefer? Do you think I'm right or just wildly off? Cause it seems like, since the industries gradual switch towards bigger and less story-driven games, I find myself playing not the big releases of this year, but instead the famous ones of the last generations - famous games that concentrated less on technical magnitude and a generally massive game world, but instead on concrete and very well defined linear environments.
  6. Yeah, makes sense, I wish I would have thought of that in retrospect Ah well. They're goddamn *fine* monitors, I highly recommend them.
  7. Dell monitors just simply because I really appreciate their quality and want them to last a long time. Not to mention, the panel quality is incredible. The lack of gold PSU is just cause I was running out of room in my budget, I might add one later if I can find a good deal.
  8. Thanks, I appreciate it! I've been working at it for a while. And I would do that, but I actually already bought the H100i while it was on a really good sale at Newegg
  9. Also, I just saw the sticky for this forum, I'll answer those specifically below: 1. Budget & Location You might wanna look at the /r/buildapcforme link, but not counting monitors, speakers, headphones, keyboard, mouse, or the 1TB HDD, my budget is $1200 flexible. I live in Colroado, USA, and have access to a Micro Center. 2. Aim I am a 16 year old high school student who has been saving to build a desktop for professional and gaming use for a while now. I am interested in web development, software development, and limited PC gaming. Ideally, I am looking to use this computer for general everyday usage with some additional gaming thrown in, likely with games not of the highest graphical intensity such as slightly-modded Skyrim, Amnesia, TF2, L4D2, FEZ, Portal 2, Sanctum 2, and Minecraft. I am currently unaware of what I can get with this budget, and would always like to expand into more graphically intensive games in the future if possible, particularly those that work well with eyefinity and the like, however this is not of the absolute highest concern. Other than gaming, the PC will be used for programming, web browsing, research, and other general applications where three monitors are excellent for productivity. 3. Monitors The system will be driving three Dell UltraSharp U2412M IPS panels (not included in the budget) @ 1080x1200 resolution. These include one DisplayPort, DVI and VGA port each. 4. Peripherals Included above, see notes. 5. Why are you upgrading? Currently have an older pre-built that works mine for web browsing and the like, but I've wanted to build my own PC for a very long time, and I want to get more into PC gaming.

Woo, I've spent about 30 hours researching the components in this build and getting various suggestions from all over the internet. It's amazing how many resources are out there! When considering parts already purchased (most peripherals including monitors, keyboard, mouse, etc), this PC is costing me around $1175, right under my initial $1200 limit! Huge thanks to everyone that helped out including: LinusTechTips on YouTube for all the incredible build guides, product reviews, and other assorted information. /u/JoeArchitect on /r/buildapcforme for helping me when I was just starting out. (This guy is absolutely amazing, one of the most helpful people I've ever met on reddit! Give him a shout if you ever need help building a system!) Newegg for Awesome Prices and Excellent Build Guides manirelli on PCPartPicker for additional reference templates for my budget. Logical Increments for good, budget-friendly recommendations. If you don't mind giving this a look over or suggestion, I'd really appreciate it! This is my first build ever, and as far as I can tell it's pretty balanced, but I'm always open to suggestion! (I've also provided additional information below for your reference if it could help with recommendations.) Left headroom for another 970 in the future. Upgrade to previous pre-built, driving 3 pre-purchased screens noted above. 16 year old high school student. Interested in web development, software development, and limited PC gaming (slightly-modded Skyrim, Amnesia, TF2, L4D2, FEZ, Portal 2, Sanctum 2, and Minecraft with interest in expanding more). Will be overclocking for performance. More information on /r/buildapcforme.
  11. I still kinda think the cooler design is sorta ugly, but I really like the specs and features ZOTAC has packed into this card!
  12. Wow, that phone looks amazing. Not only does the UI look really impressive, it's just a damn nice, minimalistic style that I really happen to like :3 Also, good on dbrands for sponsoring this video - I've never heard of them, but that is one sexy wrap.
