I love that this video, coming just 3-4 weeks before the actual launch of the Vision Pro, manages to never mention high end 4K-per-eye XR headsets as an alternative to these monster TVs. It’s like this video is a perfect “time capsule” of the world just before the impeding XR headset revolution. 
 
And yet Linus makes the perfect case for the 100-feet Vision Pro cinema mode display compared to this unwieldy monstrosity (that also happens to draw orders of magnitude more power compared to VR headsets), both from the consumer standpoint (“good luck taking it down to get support for a dead pixel”) and the manufacturing standpoint. 
 
Cost-wise, this TV costs like 3 Vision Pros or like 5-6 of the eventual Vision “Air” headsets. Could equip a whole family with headsets. Said headsets also come with an integrated computer and can display 3D movies. 
 
ps: one funny tidbit, the Vision Pro too can simulate the light from the virtual screen casting light on your room and furniture 

Kinda disappointed we go from G27 -> insanity without checking out some of the cheap DD options like the Moza R5 and Fanatec CSL DD. It's a pretty big jump just being able to get all that extra detail and especially the lack of center deadzone

Hoping this message finds its way to the editors. I think my YT comments have been getting drowned out.
 
For almost all of LTT's recent videos, there's a low frequency hum in all recorded audio. It doesn't seem to appear in sponsor spots. This suddenly started happening somewhat recently, so I assume someone's preset just changed without notice or something. Just needs a high pass filter and you're good to go <3

This is the first LTT video I'm reporting, and I'd encourage others to do the same. The thumbnail is blatantly misrepresentative of what the video actually is- the Steam Deck isn't shown at any point throughout the video, nor is them torrenting a game on it. I thought the video would showcase them emulating games on the deck- and wouldn't have clicked on the video in its current state where it's showing how to rip games and saves off NES catridges.

Linux requires reading everything annoyingly carefully in my experience. Only run it for server level work. Mac (before Big Sur) or Windows for normal usage.

Use something like ExFAT. Maximum file sizes are not an issue on that. You may need to jump through some hoops to do so.

Lol Gigabyte fixing things. They couldn't be assed to put proper ACPI and UEFI on a server board I was using. And that was just one board. Never liked any board from them.

The Floatplane title: "Time for a FREE upgrade - Nvidia Resizable BAR support" is much better but I don't like it that the word free is all capslocked. 

I don't usually complain about video titles, but I just don't get this one. You aren't downloading a GPU, let alone a faster one. 

It is unlikely to damage the bottle, but it would almost definitely stain it.
 
Also, it's designed for cold water, so that's all we can really say.
