There are many different solutions for running hypervisor Operating systems, PROXMOX, ESXi, HyperV, VMware for Workstations, Citrix Server, Debian+QEMU, etc.
 
How to connect to the VMs depend on on what manor of performance you're looking for. There's RDP, PARSEC, Teamviewer, AnyDesk, RealVNC, etc. Some leverage GPU acceleration to give you near native performance over the network others lack this but support functions like file transfers.
 
For hardware all the VMs share the CPUs. They're not strictly used by any one VM (although CPU pinning is a thing). So you can run as many as you like until CPU utilization gets too high. Depending on what the VMs are doing 250 is in no way an unreasonable number for a single server. Say if this is a deployment for a series of thin-clients its very reasonable for a 32 core system with room for more.

But its blue variant is on MSI's list of compatible ram for Ryzen and this board. One would assume its the same ram with different heat sinks.

sounds like you need to enable the option in UEFI or the BIOS depending on which the motherboard uses
 
might need to grab a copy of the manual from one of the PC's it was used in
 
if the BIOS didn't recognize the card/or if the slot was dead, chances are it wouldn't POST at all

alright so this is from what I figure from the HP elite 7200 and there is a bios update for it. if you can get into to windows could you search for RUN>type "MSINFO32" and see what bios version/date your on http://h20564.www2.hp.com/hpsc/swd/public/readIndex?sp4ts.oid=5037410&swLangOid=8&swEnvOid=4059 shows that you have ver. 7.15 that might or might not do anything for you.

dude the update was in 2012, it's doesn't say it does a lot and from what i've read it doesn't give you anymore advanced bios options to play with. I was thinking maybe 7850, but probably not.

That sounds about right, my AMD Rig(FX8370, 290x) pulls about 450W under furmark and prime95. So your floating near the 50% sweet spot under load. And if your under load your PSU will be loud but so will everything else, but a 700W not a bad idea for possible future upgrades

Not a fan of the case being red and the inside being blue. Inside red would have worked to match the case the noctuas and the copper heat pipes on your heat sink. But im guessing the motherboard made your decision for inside accent colour.

The fucking fandubs opening monolog is more professionally done. I really hate that I'm letting myself be a anime sub snob.
