  1. It's a solid choice. Relatively cheap and great speed.
  2. Ehh, they're really just good for mass storage. Maybe r1 for redundancy but I don't think it's really worth it
  3. I have a Seagate and it works fine for me. You could go with the ssd then transfer thing but if you wana save an extra step you could just go straight hdd.
  4. Spotify, soundcloud, youtube, plugdj or just itunes. I like iTunes
  5. The 212 is a beast for the $30 it costs. I got mine for $20 and never go over 70c with the stock fan
  6. It'll all work but you'll need a z97 if you plan on overclocking.
  7. Would it be possible to convert a stock intel fan into a case fan?
  8. By low budget I mean around $50-60. Would it be better to go with say a G3258 or one of the low end AMDs?
  9. I remember some video I saw before where a guy slapped his 212 onto a 780. Could this be done with a stock intel heatsinc?
  10. "Future proof" is an iffy term. Tech is always changing so you can never guarantee how long that'll do you. The LGA1150 should be standardish for at least another few years so you should be fine.
  11. Both are solid cards although amd tends to be better for higher resolutions
