  1. My favourite accessory is the Dimora, it tells a story whenever you use it. The little bird in the top right corner beckons your mouse closer to it's sharp talons so that it can eat it, then regurgitate to it's starving young baby birds. But alas, your mouse is too wise and will never venture near the preying bird, whose babies will die of starvation. All because of your wily mouse and it's will to survive. I'd be satisfied if I just won the mousepad honestly.
  2. I'll figure something out. Most games I play probably won't be bottlenecking the CPU.
  3. Thanks man! I highly recommend buying parts used off of Craigslist or Kijiji. (As long as you're cautious) The guy I bought my GPU from wanted $150, but I haggled him down to $125.
  4. I plan on getting a decent CPU cooler in the near future so I can do some overclocking.
  5. Hey guys, Let me break it down for you. I decided to build a gaming computer for under $400 using parts I bought online, used, and anything I had lying around. This is what I came up with: http://pcpartpicker.com/user/Sirglub/saved/#view=DWyRsY I had a crappy 500gb hitachi hard drive lying around, as well as 8 GBs of Ripjaw RAM. I bought the graphics card used off of my local classifieds and the rest of the parts were bought off of NCIX. Thoughts?
  6. Yay or nay? http://www.ncix.com/detail/raijintek-arcadia-atx-mid-tower-91-100857-1079.htm http://www.ncix.com/detail/msi-a68hm-e33-matx-fm2-a68h-af-108202-1257.htm http://www.ncix.com/detail/amd-athlon-x4-860k-black-e7-101406-1194.htm
  7. I'll look for a combo, see what I can find.
  8. It was either $125 for the 280X or $125 for a 750 ti, so yeah.......
  9. Hey everyone, I'm new to the LTT community, but I was wondering if you guys could give me some advice? I recently decided I was gonna build a gaming computer for $400 CAD (I was inspired by Scrapyard Wars). So I began looking for components on my local classifieds and I acquired my first part today (an MSI R9 280X for $125). I've got $275 of my budget left and I'm wondering what I should get for the remaining components. I have a potential deal for an AMD FX6300 and a Gigabyte 990FXA-UD3 Motherboard for $180. That leaves me to get a PSU, CPU, Case, and RAM......... Any help is appreciated. Thanks Sir Glub
