  1. Is there a way to get google drive to automatically back up folders, I want to be able to back up my adobe premiere files without having to worry about it, if not is there any other free way that I can do this?
  2. Mainly video files and to be used as a back up
  3. So I'm looking for something in the 4+ tb range for external storage, I know that USB 3.0 is a option but is that going to be too slow for day to day use on it? Are there any good thunderbolt 3/ USB 3.1 storage options out there? I am going to be using this on a laptop, so that is why I need it to be external.
  4. Normally its a small form factor like mini ITX but yes you could use any pc for it
  5. A lot of people like to game on pc In their living room, while it can be done with something like a steam link or a nvidia shield its not the same
  6. I would wait for that free upgrade before you buy anythIng new
  7. Here is the thing, ethernet will always be equal or faster to wifi, at least at this point in tech it is not slower than wifi. So for Instance, if you were getting 100mbps down on ethernet then you would have some "headroom" to get faster speeds on wifi. It looks like the bottleneck that you are hitting is with your internet plan not with your router. Meaning upgrading routers won't make a difference. An example would be like you cannot add a better faucet to your sink and expect it to then magically work like a fire hose, the same amount of water is coming out no matter if you upgrade your faucet. Hope that made sense lol. If you did have a faster internet plan then maybe you might see an improvement with upgrading your router but from what I remember from that video they were very similar in performance anyways.
  8. It looks like this one has both options, on desk and bolt through so I think I will get this one https://www.amazon.com/WALI-Standing-Adjustable-Capacity-Optional/dp/B018MU3SAS/ref=as_li_ss_tl?ie=UTF8&qid=1459586261&sr=8-2&keywords=wali%2Bmonitor%2Barm&linkCode=sl1&linkId=b7bec84bdb952b835e5f361393024133&tag=linus21-20
  9. Then you won't notice a difference upgrading routers
  10. Then go ahead and try it through Ethernet if you can on your pc and compare to wifi on your pc
  11. Is that wifi speed? What you can try is plug your computer into the router directly through ethernet and if it is noticeably faster then you might want to upgrade
  12. 1.136 seems low but it may be different since I have a 4670k
  13. That is not a big deal for me, it's mainly making them taller to be at eye level. I would prefer to get the one that clamps or goes through the desk but I am going to college soon and I don't know what kind of desk they will have so I think I will have to get the one that sits on the desk.
  14. Why would you recommend the one that clamps instead?
  15. I have had triple 24in monitors and for me personally 24 is too small for 3 monitors because if you are gaming on just one of them then it feels really small. I think you should get 2 27in and upgrade to 3 if you really want to later. I do not really play games on 3 anymore but for productivity it is amazIng. I have never seen a curved 16:9 in person but I think you should try it somehow in person or just get flat monitors
  16. What is the best budget dual monitor stand? I think I want one of the ones that sits on the desk because I am going to college soon and I don't know what the desk is going to be like, but I am concerned about stability, does anyone have personal experience with some of these? (Also if I'm in the wrong section sorry)
  17. Did you under volt your cpu? I would factory reset your mobo bios if you don't know if you did or not
  18. I think that the issue might be that your old cpu is not powerful enough for GTA 5, it is a demanding game and a i5 750 is pretty old by now
  19. So for whatever reason my computer's clock keeps messing up, it says the wrong time and time zone, I have changed it to the correct time and time zone but the next time I power on my PC it goes back to being incorrect again. I am assuming that this is an issue with my mobo battery needing to be replaced but I don't know for sure.
  20. Just found out that you need the more expensive plan which is like 12 a month, that is most likely your issue
  21. I wouldn't be surprised if you have to like enter a bunch of shit on intels or netflix's website to say that you have kabylake To get 4k
  22. If steam is in fact up to date then you tried verifying your game cache?
  23. Does your house have phone jacks in each of the rooms? I found out that my house was wired with cat 5 for phones so I just switched to RJ45 jacks and I was able to do what you are trying to do
  24. What type of switches would be needed for Google Fiber since its 1 Gigabyte speeds, 10 gigabit Right? Meaning that I would need a 10 gigabit card in my pc for that to work right? Any other equipment needed?
  25. So can someone explain to me how Thunderbolt 3 on new motherboards work (Z270, X99 Etc.) Is there even TB 3 or is it just USB 3.1 with a type C connector? And isn't TB 3 only on intel?
