Very well done. LGA 755 boards aren't too bad. They can still handle their own. Maybe not BF1, but still fun to play around with.- 67 replies

Handy Tech for this week was an adhesive Arctic Silver paste. Luke recommended it over pads. -

I was using that phone up till 2 years ago. But you are right, next time I might. Waiting for my Moto X2 to wear down.

I will say, my last interaction with Samsung was Galaxy SIII. So much squandered potential. They also blocked rooting with an update to it. Was so upset.

I like Samsung hardware, I just hate what they do with software.

Nice!

How much my laptop is worth?
TheCamba replied to The Belgian Waffle's topic in New Builds and Planning
Gotcha. Well, now I feel educated. I would say with V.A.T. Never hurts to price a little high and then if someone gives you a slightly lower offer and go with it. -
Do you have a PS4? I've been curious of the PS streaming feature, but have never used it.

Pardon my ignorance, what is a v.a.t.? -
Awesome. Go with the slim for easier carrying around capabilities.

I think a youtube reviewer (could be LTT, don't remember) said that the case would fit a Titan back in the day. I think the 1080 would be fine in it. Ample airflow. Just keep the filters clean.

I like the barebones of the phone. No crapware like Samsung.

How much did you spend on it? I would generally say about 3/4 or the original price if it is in pristine condition. -
Slim. Not that I have owned one. I just think a smaller profile would be easier to carry around. Thinking about rooting it or just generally using it to play PS Vita games?

Gotcha. I will look at tweaking the yaw. I just don't want it to be jerky when going half sticks. It's fairly sensitive at its standard 100%. I have the sUAS registered properly and I have my Part 107. I think the next thing I am lacking is my TSA vetting. They try and make the information readily available for what to be done, but websites to visit and tests are still frustrating. I found the FAA site pointed to a site that was required, but it didn't go live till the beginning of September even tho the info was on it in July.

Can my computer support this graphic card?
TheCamba replied to TheKurtzman's topic in Graphics Cards
I turned on a PC that I had on a test bench once and it burst into a nice flame. I think it was the capacitor that blew. Was a really old graphics card. Good thing I wasn't leaning over it. -
Hey, everybody. I acquired a Phantom 3 pro about 3 months back for work doing commercial videography as well as inspecting our buildings for roof damage. (I know, not exactly how I would like to use it, but whatever, I got management to buy this for me) My question for anyone out there, have you tweaked the controller or drone response to get slower handling? I would love to do some slow pans but find the sensitivity to be a tad high. I have messed with and followed instructions in youtube videos but haven't found anything I like. (maybe I am missing a step?) Has anyone had any experience messing with sensitivity to get some clean shots on this model drone or other? Thanks!

It looks super clean which is always nice. Great job.
