  1. But the tape holding the headphone together is. Nah, I know. Just trying for some levity.
  2. Here is my work headphone holder. Taking the entries up to 5.
  3. That's true, but that is like 2-3 days wait even with prime. Might as well have fun splicing wires.
  4. While I am all for modding, the gx260 may be the one you need to let get away. Is there anything specific you are trying to do with it?
  5. I would say half the fun of modding is trying things like splicing a USB head on to the connector and seeing if it works. Tho, I recommend testing your new perfectly spliced media card reader on a computer you don't care about just in case you crossed the wrong wires and some issues arise.
  6. Great update! I like seeing where projects have gone even after a long time.
  7. Keep up the good work man. I have enjoyed the progress on this.
  8. Looks like they have a starter kit for around $600. Not bad. Went through the tutorial and it looks super do-able.
  9. That is a super helpful website. I have never seen that one before. I will be sure to get lost in it.
  10. I am looking at primarily wood working. Metal would be way on down the line. If I did metal, it would only be deep enough to engrave. I figure that would be a different bit and seeing if the drill could support the resistance.
  11. I'm not planning on many big projects, but I guess I should calculate for change. Have any recommendations on a 1k and above?
  12. Has anyone had a lot of experience with CNC machines? Are there any recommendations? Price over performance and other questions like that. Just thinking about doing some CNC projects and want to make sure I start off on the right foot. Thanks for all input. EDIT: Realized as I was on some other forums, that I should include price. I am thinking $500 give or take. But I am all up for creativity.
  13. Make this dream a reality!
  14. Found this thread. I will join in hopefully this week. Got to remember to add the IP. Look forward to some fun.
  15. What about submerging it in oil. Tho, now that I think it out loud, that could be pretty expensive too.
  16. Nice work. Can't wait to see you do more wooden cases if you keep working on it. Love the contrast of the white wood on dark wood. Well done!

Yay picked up a coupple of cases today, one coo…

My 8800GTS was one of the best processors I ever had. It all ended a couple years back when the screen cut out and I smelled blown capacitors. Looks like you have your work cut out for you.
