  1. What model are those balling studio speakers shown in the video?
  2. Can you list a configuration that doesn't go past $900 that is also available on Amazon? Speakers, Sub, Receiver and any other else needed. Just for movies, the projector screen is 110"
  3. I was looking at this type of mounts: For this area: (the sides) The local marketplace of good speakers is virtually zero, I live in a very small town and its usually cheaper to buy in the US new than used here, the same config here would cost around $1600 or more. Whats your recommendation on the receiver? I would like to be able to have two subs in case one is not enough (my current speakers have 2 woofers) and I'm used to it.
  4. I can't go with anything second hand, I'm from Venezuela and having second hand is to risky for me because I would not be able to return it, I usually purchase at amazon and use a freight forwarder to send the purchases to my country. I forgot to mention I'm trying to have just 2 speakers (2.1) so going with the bookshelf's would mean the flood-standing speakers wouldn't go. About the budget: $900 is the max I would go.
  5. Hi, This is the measurement of my room: 15 ft deep (have in mind that the desk measures 3 ft) meaning the room deep is reduced to 12 ft 10'8 ft wide Roof height left side: 10'8 ft Roof height right side: 8ft I currently use the two speakers that are below the desk, those are very loud but I don't think they sound good, each one is self powered and I often have issues with the left and right balance. its basically two big woofers (15") and a small but very loud tweeter or horn, I believe those are more like "party" speakers. I'm aware a receiver will be needed, I have zero experience with this stuff, but I would like the option to have 2 subs in case 1 is not enough for my taste. I was looking at this configuration: Like I said I'm noob at this but I think bookshelf speakers would not be enough loud? a wall mount would be necessary as I don't have where to put them and those shelfs on my room pic it would be behind the projector screen but I'm open to recommendations. Any help will be much appreciated Thanks!
  6. I hated that Linus kept going with the VR porn jokes, Lucas is a skilled young man who obviously wanted to be taken serious on this project.
  7. You're technically correct, the best kind of correct. Each speaker has both left and right RCA inputs (I don't know why a single speaker would have left and right input) I purchased both speakers separately (so I guess they are not meant to be used together) But I use them together to watch movies, so I wanted to separate the left and right channels to have stereo sound (not mono) so I did what I did in the OG post. But since I'm a noob at this of sound I wasn't sure if what I did was wrong (disconnecting an RCA cable on each speaker to force stereo sound) For peace of mind I just ordered this: https://soundmatters.com/product/left-right-channel-stereo-splitter/?fbclid=IwAR3dIUsg2ucqXnPfW-KUBzviT9wWqVJlMKUlf3mM_aEX_r4ShBVa6UWa79w to have both RCA cables connected but split the signal with that cable adapter.
  8. I have two of these speakers and I'm trying to get stereo sound (left and right) So I disconnected the White cable on the right speaker and disconnected the Red cable on the Left Speaker and its giving me stereo sound, (I'm using this adapter: https://rads.stackoverflow.com/amzn/click/com/B00LM0ZGK6) My question: What I did was wrong? is it bad to disconnect one of these cables? will the speaker sound less loud? or not at 100%?
  9. B550 AORUS ELITE AX V2 looking really good and its cheaper than the B550-F
  10. I'm looking for 32 GB of ram, the only two kits I found of 4x8 GB are: G.SKILL Trident Z Neo 32GB $219 G.SKILL Ripjaws V Series 32GB $266 The question is: Can I mix TWO kits of 2x8? For example: Crucial Ballistix Some one told me: That's my fear. Or should I go 2x16GB Instead? I noticed those are WAY cheaper: TEAMGROUP T-Force Dark Za 32GB $159 Main use of this build is Gaming, Photoshop and Web Design.
  11. Thanks for the links, I see none of them is cl16, is because it could cause issues with that specific motherboard?
  12. I'm having a hard time picking the ram, I was looking for a 4x8gb kit 3600 cl16 none of the options I found at Amazon is on the list of the supported ram here: https://rog.asus.com/motherboards/rog-strix/rog-strix-b550-f-gaming-wi-fi-model/helpdesk_knowledge Can you guys give me a hand?
  13. I just realized that the RAM I currently have is DDR4 3000mhz but its "old" you think it will work with a Ryzen 5600x? https://www.newegg.com/corsair-16gb-288-pin-ddr4-sdram/p/N82E16820233849?Item=N82E16820233849&utm_medium=Email&utm_source=IGNEFL040516&cm_mmc=EMC-IGNEFL040516-_-EMC-040516-Index-_-DesktopMemory-_-20233849-S2A3C
  14. what RAM should I be getting for the 5600x? I'm looking for 32 GB, I need the best ram possible for PUBG. I heard Ryzen CPUs need the fastest ram?
  15. 5600k, the thing is I don't want it to do fine I want it to do better. the GPU is a gtx 1080 non-ti
  16. I believe single core performance is way better for Photoshop / AdobeXD which is what I use, but I was aiming to 8 cores because consoles are using that, I'm wondering if I should go with 6 cores instead for better single core performance. my 4 core cpu gets to 100% in PUBG and its causing performance issues.
  17. I was considering going Ryzen, I had my eyes on the 5800X (I'm aiming to 8 cores minimum.) But that chip costs $450 and performance is almost the same as the 10700K at $328
  18. I'm editing and gaming at 1080p (144hz) I'm not planning to upgrade my monitor soon or in a while unless it suddenly dies and in case it does I would go high refresh rate at 1440p or 1080p but not 4K Just for the record I don't do any video editing.
  19. 10700K $328 10900F $364 Which one and why? Main use: PUBG and Professional Photoshop / illustrator & AdobeXD
  20. it causes some kind of issue, because of the different resolutions and refresh rates, for example the monitor is 1080p at 144hz but the TV is 4K at 60hz If I set it to duplicate it caps my monitor from 144hz to 60hz and TV will stay in 1080p not 4K Duplicate+ setting the resolution to 4K is even worse, it caps everything to 30 Hz
  21. That's what I'm trying to avoid, I don't want them to connect on a same desktop, I don't want to move the mouse off the edge to go to another screen. I want to use a screen at the time depending on the situation.
