  1. you can get a cheaper power supply dont really need to buy an 850w unit i would drop that unit down to something around 100$ and use the saved money to swap out the 256GB 850 pro ssd for a 500GB 850 Evo price should be pretty similar
  2. 144 fps at 1440 is tough in some titles even with 2 780s so you will actually make use of it i enjoy the benefits of Gsync on my 144hz Swift and on my GT72 2QE-1449 75hz Gsync laptop
  3. just make a bootable USB or dvd with the ISO be done within an hour or two
  4. "Something Happened" everytime i try lol tried different usb drives all confirmed to work as a bootable usb, FAT32, NTFS etc always happens some time after the 85% mark cause when i look back i see the wonderful words "Something Happened"
  5. found a few refurbished skews that are not that bad 17" intel based http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16834232656 15" AMD based http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16834231987 15" Intel Based http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16834232004
  6. any of the D5s would be best just try and get one that is variable. DDCs are also an okay choice
  7. 3/8ID 5/8 OD is my favourite and the most used and the easiest to get fittings for. the smaller the tubing the less water you will need and the cheaper the fittings will be
  8. thanks yeah i run 1440 as a minimum looking into getting a secondary 4k panel need more vram and raw power prob wont be upgrading in the near future as the only thing that's really stressing my system is The Witcher 3 in terms of power i am drawing just over 900-1000w from the wall so wanted to try and drop that a bit but if it wouldn't change that's fine too i guess
  9. any specific numbers? wattage, fps etc obviously the question is by how much not will it
  10. been out of the loop for several months how much of a performance difference will there be and how big of a difference would i get in terms of power usage?
  11. exhaust through a radiator don't intake through one if you can help it
  12. ATDEC Space Dec i use this one for my rog swift here is some older photos
  13. i can still install that 3 more times on my 1TB evo so im good
  14. the rad and res are one whole unit you can remove the pump and use it by itself i would recommend scrapping the idea of expanding on it and just get a cpu block, a D5 or DDC res combo, some size rad and some tubing it will be FAR easier to work around than expanding the H220-x Speaking from experience
  15. 400- 450 CAD is what i would offer
