  1. Tried 3 different TVs and 3 different cables, I know TVs arnt the best option but that's all he had. Could try with my monitor but doubt it would make a difference. Cables and TVs were all used earlier that day too
  2. I know it's a Ryzen 5 on an Am4 board with compatible ddr4 ram but I'll get the list once home from work, thanks!
  3. Just built a new pc with a friend of mine, I've built/help build 4 pcs now and rebuilt my own a couple times. But this hasn't happened before. All new components but when we turn it in to POST no image comes on. All fans spin and lights turn on. Tried both GPU and mobo outputs but still not image. Read online and then adjusted the gpu in and out and the ram too but still no image. Could taking the bios battery out help? Any advice would be great, thanks! Ed Will get a list of components if you need it when he sends them on.
  4. I would love to win either, but after using a £7 mouse for the last year the Sagitta Spectrum mouse would be awesome! Love the cobtent, watch you every day!
  5. If I had that budget I would have to choose between two items both for all the family. The first would be a Nvidia Sheila TV. As it stands we all do our own thing, me and my brother upstairs on our computers, dad on his ipad and mum on her surface. This would bring us together like the wii used to and get my parents into video games. http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B00XO7AK1U/ref=mp_s_a_1_2?qid=1449152876&sr=8-2π=SX200_QL40&keywords=nvidia+tv&dpPl=1&dpID=31sBdWqyflL&ref=plSrch The other is a Google Asus router. Still using the talk talk provided we are limited to 4 devices at a time on a 2ghz channel. All the time we shout for a device to disconnect and my parents are sceptical to buy a new one. http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B00XO7AK1U/ref=mp_s_a_1_2?qid=1449152876&sr=8-2π=SX200_QL40&keywords=nvidia+tv&dpPl=1&dpID=31sBdWqyflL&ref=plSrch Thanks so much for this opportunity, loving the content from the new location and I wish you all a merry Christmas. 6. i uninstalled all drivers and installed fresh, this was not affected
  7. now attached to the post are some images of said problem, but it can be a lot worse with the entire screen being covered in these. currently nothing is happening on the desktop, or chrome; good for me but bad to show you... Another thing that i noticed recently is varying frame rates even while standing still in gta, both online and offline..? Specs: fx 8320 r9 270x 8gb ballistix asus r2.o m5a97
  8. i doubt it's my screen/ cable as the artifacts are 3d, in games as i move the camera they stay in there location on the object not on the screen.
  9. I Recently had an issue of red squares appearing on my screen and all the repliers on the topic came to the conclusion that it was windows fault and my hardware was fine; but now after updating to windows 10 from 7 these do not show their face as often but during times when the screen is completely black, say from unlocking to the desktop, between asus logo (mobo) and windows, quitting a fullscreen program or on Razer synapse. They do not appear anywhere else... However, something i believe that is related is far more annoying. My computer can be idling, like now, or under stress (Prime95/ Furmark/ Games- Far cry 3/4 - GTA 5 - Beamng Drive - Assetto Corsa) and artifacts will appear. These warp and stretch any on screen image from chrome, ai suite or after burner to 3d elements in games having new pieces going on forever. Also on the desktop when moving items around parts of the window is left behind or the wallpaper dragged with it. I feel that to fix this it was cost me but i'm unsure whether its cpu or gpu related. Or something else? i tried taxing each component as separately as i could with CPU on prime 95 and GPU on furmark but there was little difference that i could see. both CPU and GPU have been over clocked with them both now at stock clocks to reduce this. CPU/ GPU/ Other? Thanks! P.S. The issue does not show up in screen shots...
  10. Well that was easy, was trying to do it through the windows software, didn't think of the website, Thankyou!!!
  11. While trying to add someone on steam as a friend i managed to block them, and now i can't undo it. I've looked on steam community pages but what they say and i see don't match up. No list of blocked users appear in my friends list nor can i click on the more icon on there page to unblock them. The only evidence that i have blocked them is a message that pops up when i hover over the greyed out add as friend icon. (Image) Please help... Thankyou
  12. i have run multiple Benchmarks, both cpu and gpu based but they stay there. occasionally they flash but otherwise they are always there. Sapphire R9 270X 4GB
  13. Found the artist through MKBHD, google Facets and loads similar will come up, and this particular one is called nightcall: http://www.dsktps.com/wallpapers/2013/04/89_Nightcall_by_Justin-Maller_1920x1200.jpg
  14. Thanks for all your help, will try reinstalling display drivers, and as a last resort will try windows reinstall. Thanks again!
  15. i've got an fx 8320, so no internal graphics, mobo wouldn't support it anyway.
