  1. not needed, I just need m.2 for my sn550 i bought already.. and wifi if its a better deal over buying an external stick
  2. If I could get a 3600 for 220 on aliexpress would that also be a good option? Looking for a mobo with wifi and AMD4 seems to have better prices.. lots of wifi sticks I see around 30$.. so might as well buy a better motherboard instead of a cheaper mobo and a wifi stick
  3. Just curious if the r5 3600 would be a better value if the computer will mainly be used for running multiple programs for school and work? With some gaming after? Price in Canada currently is about 280$ for R5 3600 vs about 220 for the 10400..
  4. I just bought a beyerdynamic DT990 Pro 250ohm and would like to purchase an amp/dac to go along with it.. wanting to spend about 100~ CAD. I currently have Supreme FX audio onboard my Asus Z170 pro gaming aura.
  5. Update, have unplugged all hard drives and plugged in a usb with a copy of the BIOS. Computer turns on now and stays on, but my monitor displays "no signal".. any clues?
  6. it will turn on and then display a black screen for about 10 seconds (my fan leds are on) and then it will restart on its own, and repeat
  7. I can turn off the computer when its in the loop by holding the power button (on the case), and no I also use the power button on the case to turn it on.
  8. so you suggest that I should try using a different powersupply? since i did the cmos jump correctly?
  9. I have shorted the two connectors for the CMOS jumper while the computer is turned off. since there was no bridge on the two pins to begin with, I would have to short it to reset the cmos correct?
  10. Do you think its a fixable problem? Or do you think my install of the bios was corrupt/incomplete.. and not fixable?
  11. Sorry my bad, forgot to mention that I have already pulled the gpu from the system, am only running the mobo, cpu, ram, and the hard drives
  12. I updated my bios and believe that I have a corrupt install, would like to verify and have any recommendations for fixing this issue. The reason for my bios update was because my computer would not boot properly after installing the new graphics card.. I believe I have dug myself a deeper hole that what I was already in. System specs: Intel 2500k MSI z68A-g45 g3 8gb of kingston ram xfx hd6850 going to evga gtx1060 The issue im currently experiencing is that the computer will turn on for 10 seconds approximately, and then it will restart and loop. I have tried pulling the cmos battery, and unplugging the power supply. To try and reset Have tried pulling one ram stick at a time, still doesn't work EDIT: I have already pulled out the dedicated GPU and am running off of the onboard
  13. That looks great shame they didn't add visuals for it to show percentages
  14. yeah I'm currently studying to enter the aviation industry.. and the concept is very cool. Would love to have an aviation themed computer.. maybe like toggle switches and all that sort. How much work would something like this take to program? I have zero programming experience.. but I would be willing to learn if it is not that hard of a process. But yeah, I can see how it could be possible since there are similar things that show temperature and all of that on fan controllers.
  15. Is it possible to mod something that will be its own stand alone display that can display all the system information? things such like CPU temperature, GPU temperature, clock speeds.. I know there are applications like rainmeter that can show most of this stuff, but is it possible to have a stand alone screen that will show you all of this information, but the mouse won't be able to go to that screen? So it would be something that would look like an aircraft display.. something like this https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/0/03/737-800_EIS_After_Landing.jpg so essentially it would be a fancy fan controller but with a lot more information.. is it possible? Or would something like rainmeter be the only option?
  16. I will probably be using one at a time, or maybe at the most two
  17. Hey guys I want to start a project to switch audio devices for 3.5mm. So what I want to do is to use my (green) 3.5mm to give audio to my keyboard, and two headphones. So I have one input that should go to 3 outputs or maybe 4, to have an extra one. So I've seen some DIY posts like this http://www.instructables.com/id/How-to-build-a-18in-35mm-stereo-audio-switch-/ and was wondering if it's possible to use one switch for every output, and have a total of around 4 outputs coming from 1 input. Any wiring advice would be appreciated!
  18. Hi guys I've updated to windows 10 and when i turn on my computer everyday I'm asked to put in my password for my email account. Is there any way to disable this since it is really getting annoying..
  19. Hey guys I need you help for picking an edge to edge screen protector for the galaxy S6 edge. It would be great if you guys have the phone and the screen protector and could post pictures.
