That was a bit painful to watch as those appear to be Samsung SyncMaster 793-s, a monitor very popular in my region. Almost anyone who I spoke about their old / first PC had one of these monitors.
 
Speaking of which, I still have mine and it it still working and being used.

Out of curiosity, was it just one device? I used 4.0.4 ICS on my Xperia Arc S for 8 years also.

This. HDMI is bandwidth limited I have bigger brother GL850 and it does 144Hz fine on displayport.

That's the problem as @Action_Johnson pointed out. You need to use Displayport cable. The one included with the monitor is fine. I'm using it with mine and getting 144Hz.

Those are not stickers, but brass sockets for the screws. Backplate is screwed from the frond side.
 
I have 280x Toxic, which uses the same coller. It is held on by 4 main screws around the GPU, and two black ones on the IO. Watch the fan cables as they are bit short.

What input did you use on the LG before you got 2060? Do you know that DVI input is working.
 
Also if you have HDMI to HDMI cable, try connecting only AOC via it's HDMI input to the GPU. Maybe it's HDMI port is bad.

I think that it could be interesting if there was role reversal. Instead of Linus and Luke being the competitors, they are the judges, then pick 2-3 least "PC knowledgeable" people from the office, give them $400 to build the best tower they can. Challenge would be that they would have to use only used hardware, and they are not allowed to watch LTT videos to learn about parts.

Top down is when the air moves towards the motherboard, like with the intel and amd stock coolers. Configuration in your picture would be front to back.

According to the specsheet case supports coolers up to 190mm tall, and DRP4 is 163, so it should fit.

Windows only cares about the resolution of the display, and not the physical size.

Adapter would convert HDMI to DP, and than you can use any DP to miniDP cable, as it is only the physical connector difference between full and mini DP.
