    This was the exact kind of weird answer I'd never think of that I was hoping for. I moved my router which was situated about 2 feet from the subwoofer and it was indeed the source of the issue!

    Yeah you can delete them. That is just the SID of an "unknown to the current install of windows" user. Most likely a user that was created then delete in the current install or if you re-installed Windows over the top of an older install, then transferred out files from the windows.old folder, every user account/group will still have it's SID imprinted on each file.
     
    They are fine to delete, assuming you don't move he drive back and forward between this and another system (if you do you'll have to re-apply the permissions on the next system).
     
    No issues.Give this a read for more info on permissions. Very old, but most of it still applies. This is even better...

    The BIOS won't care what the hell is on the drive. For all it could care, you could have an archive of all the porn ever made on it along with a load of malware and it will still get detected.

    I own 2 of these and price is definitely not indicative of performance. Best price/performance mic you can get atm imo, and I would highly recommend them to anybody who uses headphones. (edit.) Sorry didn't really read your post before I blurted that =3 It will pick up ambient noises quite easily especially considering most people turn mic boost to full when using them, but take it as you will.
