  1. I though of something small but not too small like Micro-ATX or maybe even Mini-ITX and get a case around that for cheap. I really want it to be upgradable
  2. I am looking to build an efficient home server on Linux using Docker to run several applications such as Plex, a Minecraft server with hardware transcoding, local server storage, Bitwarden host, home automation, Pi-hole, dynamic DNS, and potentially many more in the future. Since I haven't purchased any components yet, I am open to suggestions. I have found a local second-hand Ryzen 5600X for $135 USD. Should I go for it and build my server around it or should I look for another option? I am looking for a small motherboard that can fit inside a small case to minimize space, but I have no idea what motherboard I should pick. I prefer an AMD CPU because it's easy to upgrade without having to buy a new motherboard. However, I've heard about problematic low power c-state on AMD platforms and I'm not sure if I should be worried about power consumption when it comes to AMD CPUs during idle. For PSU, I thought about something small, maybe a Pico PSU? My budget is $450-500 USD maximum, but I would love to spend less if I don't need to. I plan to start with 16GB of RAM (2 sticks of 8GB), with the option to add two more sticks down the line for a total of 32GB. I don't think it's too expensive to upgrade. While ECC memory isn't a priority, if it's only a few dollars more, I wouldn't mind getting it. I am open to purchasing second hand components on eBay or even AliExpress. Any suggestions for components are welcome.
  3. If that amp is too powerful there is similar one with lower wattage. Didn't find any other boards that are doing 100W x2 with a powered sub that don't cost a fortune when all I want to do is drive this speakers without any additional boards/amps etc...
  4. Hello, so I am trying to reuse my old LG speakers LMS-M540 with a Microlab FC 50 subwoofer as an 2.1 audio setup for my tv. The cheap Microlab subwoofer board somewhat died and the left speaker output no longer working, I thought about replacing it with this S350H TPA3251D2 amplifier board and powering it with the same 20v 1.5A power supply I used before. As far as I understand by reading the manual the LG main speaker is a 6 OHM 50W and no idea about the tweeter. Would this setup work? Any possible suggestions with this setup? Can I hook up also the small Microlab speakers and have 4 in total? Could I down the road upgrade the speaker with something better? I never worked with in depth with audio stuff so this is my first time doing something DIY in this field so I have no idea if I'm doing stuff right haha
  5. This is the exact reason how it can be done. All the risk comes from the pins being wrong diameter or different distance between them that ends up damaging the ports when you plug/unplug.
  6. Yes, any specific recommendations? I read some reviews and seen that people have damaged their headphones with cables, I just want a cable that will last, sound the same or better and that will not damage my headphones. Of course I don't want a cable that costs the same as the 58X themselves haha...
  7. It feels very awkward but the right side of the original cable of my HD58X is dying, I though that the cable will last longer then two years but oh well better that the cable will die instead of the headphones. So I need a cable that will be the same quality or better then my original one, maybe the same length and that will not die as quickly. Any recommendations? TLDR: Cable died and in need of a replacement, same or better quality then the original HD58X .
  8. I am looking for a smartwatch that will help me to avoid taking out my phone (android), I want to be able to check the time, notifications, check who calls me/hang up, read massages/mail, media control on the phone itself (earphones), google assistant, onboard wifi, bluetooth and being able to play music from the watch itself without a phone via bluetooth (Spotify/on board) is a plus but not necessary. No interested in features like heartbeat/sleep sensor, fitness tracker, cellar/LTE, GPS and swim resistance. I am willing to pay up to 200$ for a smartwatch, is there a smartwatch that someone can recommend me for such use?
  9. Is the feel inside the ear of the kz zsx is different from the 10 pro? (comfortability and fit)
  10. So today I was doing my routine of cleaning my KZ ZS10 Pro earphones and I found out that in the little bit of plastic that is sticking out where the connector is located there is some chipped away plastic on both sides and it goes all around. So far the the cable is holding in for now, but god knows for how long it will last and until then I need to get a replacement. Does anyone know any good earphones with similar performance and price as the KZ ZS10 Pro? And another thing that I found out at the same time is that my Linsoul TRIPOWIN C8 cable that im using with the KZ is becoming green and all of that because of a thing called metal oxidation and apparently you can't do anything about that. It is very sad day for me :(
  11. So I have two 27 inch displays, one is ROG Swift PG27V and the second one is Dell U2715H. I want to put both of them on a single stand to clear up my desk since their stands together are taking a lot of desk space, I thought of getting one that you can "stick" to your table since I don't want drilling holes in a place that i'm renting.I tried to find one on amazon that would support the weight of both of them (The ROG one is very heavy) and be able to move them freely, but I don't know much about these stands myself. I could use some advice, thanks in advance!
  12. I watched and read some reviews and seems like the kz zs10 pro are the best choice for me, some of them also recommended memory foam ear tips can you suggest me a good brand? Or it does not matter as long as it fits? And do you swap out for a different cable, I read some reviews that they come with "the old" not bent cable and that the one with the mic sounds quieter and not as good. I'm curios about a mobile dac to, its not something that i'm planning to buy right now but I would like to get a suggestion on one
  13. I listen to pretty much everything from classical music to rock, from real vocals to vocaloids, pop, electronic and much more.. I
  14. I don't really know 50$? maybe more it depends on the value itself I guess. And also with black friday coming up I probably will just wait until then, I just need to lock on some earphones.
  15. I have been using this Panasonic earphones for literally years as my daily driver when going outside with my phone, wherever I go I always take them with me. I know that in terms of audio quality they are not the best BUT for their price it was always a killer. So i'm getting to a point lately that the audio quality is no longer the best for me and they started to hurt my ears when I have them in my ear for quit a while, and I am ready for an upgrade and I want a similar in ear earphones but I don't know any good alternatives. Do you have any suggestions? And of course I am willing to pay more then 8$ this time
