Since I have to choose I would prefer the keyboard. I already have a mechanical keyboard with Kailh Brown switches, but my current keyboard doesn't have a numpad and the LEDs in my current keyboard are a different color on each row. This keyboard would match with the black and blue setup I am going for, and I already know I would be satisfied with the brown switches.

I have already ordered a 120GB SSD for my old laptop to make it a little snappier, but I would really like a larger capacity drive since this is the only drive in the system. I considered ordering a 240GB SSD for it, but didn't think a 7 year old laptop was really worth a $60 SSD. With the fact that SSDs are so cheap now and the massive boost in performance every PC that is still in use should have an SSD in it.

I would choose the Kova White. The RGB lighting is nice, but not necessary. But the better sensor on the Kova is what is making me choose it. If they had the same sensor, I would probably have chosen the Kiro for the modularity.

The headset is definitely my favorite out of all the peripherals shown. They look beautiful, and I have never seen a headset made quite like these are. Also, a headset is the one peripheral I need most right now.

APU: AMD A10-7850K http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00H7Z7YMI/?tag=pcpapi-20 ($149.99) RAM: Kingston HyperX Blue (2x4GB) http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00J8E8YSY/?tag=pcpapi-20 ($60.99) Storage: AData Premier Pro SP600 http://pcpartpicker.com/mr/amazon/a-data-internal-hard-drive-asp600s364gmc ($44.99) WL 500GB http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=9SIA5AD1S71978 ($38.99) Case: XION XON-310 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811208059 ($28.98) PSU: Raidmax 450W http://pcpartpicker.com/mr/newegg/raidmax-power-supply-rx450k ($24.99) MB: AsRock FM2A58M http://www.ebay.com/itm/ASRock-FM2A58M-VG3-R2-0-Socket-FM2-95W-FM2-100W-AMD-A58-Bolton-D2-Micro-AT-/301380753488?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item462bb15850 ($44.98) Total build cost comes out to $393.91. Since it wasn't specified which currency to go with I went with USD. Even then it was fairly brutal getting this build under $400. Through much of the time I was researching this build I was certain I would have to downgrade the APU, but was able to squeeze the 7850K into the budget after going for a 64GB SSD and 500GB Mechanical drive (instead of 120GB SSD and 1TB Mechanical drive). At least now if anyone comes to me wanting a dirt cheap PC in the near future I won't have to do the research again.

I think a NUC would be fun to play with. Also, my cat was scratching at the screen while I wrote this.

Everything in this bundle looks good, but I have to say that I like the case most of all. The asthetic is nicely understated while not being boring and the case has all the features and room you need for a very clean build. My current case is just a cheap one with no cable management, and the only space for a radiator is on the side pannel (which would not be good if I needed inside the case with a water cooler installed).

The price to performance of the 970 as well as the efficiency of the 970 and 980 makes Nvidia look like a much more attractive option than ever before.

I use 800 DPI. My mouse has a DPI switch to bump that up to 1600, but I didn't like it.

I just got my Gigabyte M6800 in and I don't recommend this for anyone with small hands. I have normal sized hands and this mouse is a bit big for me.

Maybe you should look at the GIGABYTE M6800. Some reviews specifically mentioned how light this mouse was. I just ordered one and it hasn't arrived yet, so I can't say anything from personal experience. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16826146009

I started out on DOS. I think Windows 3.1 was out at the time, but we didn't have it.

I just looked it up and there is not cross generation play for Destiny, so you and your friends would need to jump from the 360 version to XB1 version at the same time.

1 Million Subscribers - Thank you all! And a giveaway!
burdebc replied to nicklmg's topic in LTT Releases
I found Linus Tech Tips when I was searching for a video explaining the difference between GDDR5 and DDR3, as well as explaining why RAM on a video card is not tied in any way to system RAM. I know someone who believes that GDDR and DDR are the same standard and that using a video card with GDDR5 on a system with DDR3 will slow the video card memory down. After watching a few more As Fast As Possible videos I had to subscribe. Of course I would be happy with any of the giveaway prizes, but I probably need the gaming rig most since my PC is getting kind of old now. Thanks for all the fun.- 22,217 replies
