WAIT HOLD UP. WE DONT WANT LINUS'S PERSONAL PC. The case has a lot of meaning to him guys. It was a gift from his wife. I believe it was the first gift from her too.
EDIT: Thanks for all the likes guys! Hopefully Linus or someone from LMG will read this and this will make Linus keep his build. Even if the goal of 100k is made we should convince Linus to do another build maybe, with signatures from the whole LMG family and maybe even his wife. This would let Linus keep the build he has with the special case his wife gave him. Besides, his personal PC would be more special to him than us.

    Source: NVidia CES Conference

Announced the World's first mobile chip that can perform 4k 60hz video is named the Tegra X1.
Tegra X1 is based on the maxwell gpu for power efficiency and performance.

Unreal Engine 4 is shown running Elemental on the Tegra X1 in realtime:

Tegra X1 is the first gpu for Nvidia to create a new format and achieve new performance:

The Tegra X1 is even compared against the Intel Core i7 exceeding its performance at less power:

NVidia is now adapting the Tegra X1 for automotive use where your car is going to become one of the world's most advanced computational devices.

Nvidia also unveiled the a new computer platform the "Drive CX" which can process 6.2 megapixels, running virtual machines, 4k displays and support every major os in the world and includes the new Drive Studio by Nvidia.

As see, the Drive CX is demo'd as powering the dashboard of the car dubbed the "Digital Cockpit"
The Drive CX is powering everything in the new infotainment system for automobiles.
The map rendered has ambient occlusion, gpu rendered vectors, and uses 3D Geometry.

The GPU is also able to render materials and retexture parts of the digital elements.
The image below is using bamboo texturing in realtime.

    My Favourite: Carbon Fibre

NVidia hopes to achieve "Ecosystem Unification".

To achieve environmental rendering, situation aware and software updates, NVidia dreams to have a car to have supercomputing capabilities using their new DrivePX.
The DrivePX can be run in parallel or standalone. Introduces computer vision and surround vision.

All inputs as NVidia imagines will feed into the DrivePX including cameras, sensors, etc...

Deep Neural Net Computer Vision is a new technology with the DrivePX to simulate computer learning dynamically.
So engineers no longer need to hard code certain features or surroundings.

GPUs are required for parallel processing. GPUs can now recognise more images than humans.

    Neural Net diagram.

Nvidia's new technology can see many types of the same thing/class such as different signs and forms of pedestrians.
In Nvidia's example, it is shown that it can process a cyclist but cannot see the bicycle behind a police car, however once it recognizes the bicycle, it reclassifies as a cyclist. Such as differentiating between red and green, a car or an ambulance.

    In rear view:

Nvidia's car technology is shown with the Audi car self-driving on the Formula 1 Track in Germany. There is no one inside the car.

AMD FreeSync technology for smoother gaming - FreeSync technology enables an improved gaming experience through dynamic refresh rates that are synchronized to the frame rate of AMD Radeon™ graphics cards and APUs. At CES, AMD's partners, including, BenQ, LG Electronics, Nixeusm, Samsung, and ViewSonic will showcase the world's first FreeSync-enabled displays1.

1 FreeSync is an AMD technology designed to reduce or eliminate screen tears in games and videos by allowing the monitor's refresh rate to be controlled by and synchronized to the Radeon R-series graphics card or APU Radeon R-series graphics. Requires DisplayPort 1.2a compliant monitors that support DisplayPort Adaptive-Sync and an AMD desktop 2014 A-series APU with Radeon R-series graphics, with forthcoming FreeSync-enabled driver. Support for use with multiple monitors planned. Confirm supported technologies with system manufacturer before purchase.

They copy Apple blatantly. Got 2 things predicted correctly.

I'm not saying Apple was the first with gold coloured phones, or finger print sensor the more important points are that

Samsung has introduced gold colour availability AFTER Apple had released the 5s. Why don't they do it before them? I don't think any other phone has a finger print sensor on the home button itself before the 5s, so once again, Samsung copies and puts a fingerprint sensor on the home button Im surprised that there was no dual flash or even a 64 bit processor!

Dude if you want to be on the hate Apple bandwagon, good for you. You're so blinded by your hatred that you don't even know what you are talking about. Price? Look above, I think I did a pretty good job on that one, don't you think? Mac Pros aren't meant for Home machines, you dolt. They are Professional Grade Machines. We've tried telling you that time and time again, but you aren't listening still, are you? You can NOT try and compare a Haswell based gaming rig to a Xeon based system designed for professionals. Never in the history has that ever been a good idea. I'm pretty sure Linus talked about that specific topic on the WAN show, though I haven't watched it yet. It was with SoldierKnowsBest is my understanding. Someone correct me if I am wrong, please.

Haswell-E isn't out yet, damn. How are you going to compare a part against a part that isn't out yet? Can you tell me the performance numbers of Haswell-E please? Can you show me where all this information about Haswell-E has been confirmed by Intel themselves (not leaks mind you, we need hard data)? When is that ever a good idea in anyones book? When has chasing tech like you are proposing ever worked out for anyone. By your book, you shouldn't have a computer at all built because soon the next great part is coming out. Are you really saying that? Why did you buy your Graphics Card, because you know Maxwell is around the corner? Are you really that dumb?

I didn't see any Mac Pros on that link you put in there, can you point out where you saw it at? You can't state something without providing the data to back it up. So I need to see your official score from your system then a score from a new Mac Pro to make the comparison. Presenting only partial facts doesn't make things true, sorry. Its like you saying that the Mac Pro has a 270x, which I did above prove you wrong.
