  1. i did own the 970 and i noticed it
  2. well i did when i owned one
  3. Alright guys, i've been in the market for a new gpu for quite awhile now, i have to say i am very disappointed with both nvidia and amd. Nvidia 900 series is pretty good, however the company have been assholes with the series: the 970 vram issue, the titan x launched right before 980 ti, the 980 being overpriced imo. And on the amd side, they've just rebranded for the third freaking time in a row--minus the fury which is honestly extremely disappointing considering it rarely beats out a 980 ti. I just don't know what to go for and am hoping you guys could help me out. (P.S. 980 ti/ fury x is out of my price range)
  4. Cd projekt red is not american, i believe they're polish? but regardless, the fighting style may be boring to you because you are used to a more action, fast paced oriented DMC experience, that doesn't make the witcher's combat bad.
  5. plus, EVGA does possess the step up program, not completely sure how it works, but i believe it essentially lets you get the next step up for cheaper (for instance if you bought a 980, you could upgrade to a 980 ti)
  6. i wouldnt agree with that, the standard evga cards are still viable, plus evga is a very generous company in terms of regulations and warranties
  7. buy an r9 280x, its roughly the same price and you get an extra gigabyte and better performance/dollar
  8. just buy a 1440p panel, 4k is kinda crappy for gaming atm
  9. no im not. Planning on getting the r9 300 series when its released, but if that sucks then im gonna go 980.
  10. Hey guys, im wondering if my i5 4670k will be good for the witcher 3 at high-ultra settings? Thanks in advance!
  11. Thanks for all the input, ill just go with the better gpu then!
  12. Hey guys, so im in the market for some upgrades, but im not sure what to go with. Option 1) Upgrade my cpu from an i5 4670k to an i7 4790k and buy a 370-400$ GPU (possibly a 300 series card when released) Option 2) Only buy a 470-500$ GPU Thoughts? Thanks in advance!
